Iam Mohammad Zaiter, a person deeply affected by the war, living in the heart of the suffering caused by the current crises. I have lost many aspects of my life and find myself facing immense challenges just to secure the basic necessities of daily life, such as food and medicine. Prices have risen dramatically, and under the ongoing siege and poverty, getting the essentials has become nearly impossible.
Today, it is incredibly difficult to afford even the basics. For example, Serg oil (a basic commodity), which was once sold for $3, now costs $40, which has only increased
the hardship and makes securing food for survival even harder. This drastic price hike is just one part of the larger picture of our suffering.
Here are some of the daily prices we are facing, which make it incredibly difficult to afford food:

• Eggplants: $18 per kilo.
• Tomatoes: $20 per kilo.
• Cucumbers: $16 per kilo.
• Onions: $17 per kilo.

Little Majd needs your help
Majd Al-Habeel @youseffamily has known little of life without suffering. After losing his home to IOF bombardment, he and his parents were forced to live in a tent. This wreaked havoc on Majd’s health, as he is diagnosed with a serious respiratory illness that limits his ability to breathe. Living in a tent leaves one exposed to dust, dirt, debris, vermin, mold, fungus, and harsh weather—the worst possible environment for a child with his condition.
His family requires mutual aid to provide for Majd’s life-saving care, as well as to procure food, water, medications, other supplies, and clothing and gear for winter. They are a little over two-thirds of the way to their current listed goal, with still a long way to go. Please help this family out and give sweet Majd a better chance at life.

the current goal is $8824 to evacuate Adli and Rania Haboub. they're in a very dangerous area; there was recently an airstrike on the house next door which martyred several people living with them. let's try to raise the funds to get them to safety as soon as possible.
if you've seen my past posts about the Haboub family, you may remember that Adli and Rania prioritized raising funds to reenroll their son and daughter in university before fundraising for their own evacuation. I can't imagine how it must feel to be forced to make those kinds of decisions. now that they're making plans to evacuate, let's show them our support! every $5 makes a difference.

Mohammed @mohammedalhabil lives with his mother Ibtisam, his sister Noha, and his sister Nour. They are a loving family, but have had more than their fair share of struggles. Mohammed’s father was martyred by the occupation in its 2014 aggression. Ibtisam and Omar, Mohammed’s older brother, supported the family themselves for many years. Then, in December 2023, Omar was martyred by the occupation while he and Mohammed were out gathering firewood. Mohammed was severely injured in the same attack.
This was not the last time Mohammed was injured by IOF violence. Mohammed has been injured on four separate occasions, resulting in his left leg being critically wounded. He had to have a full cast put on, rendering him unable to move any part of his leg.
He undergoes regular physiotherapy when it is safe enough to travel to the clinic, but unfortunately this is not enough to heal his wound. Mohammed is going to require intense, specialized treatment in order to fully heal his leg and regain as full of function as possible. Due to the occupation’s systematic destruction of Gaza’s medical infrastructure, this cannot be done in Gaza.
Mohammed will need to travel abroad to treat his leg, which will be a complex and expensive proposition. Just passing from Gaza into Egypt costs thousands of dollars, not to mention the costs of lodging, food, medication, and medical appointments. He is trying to raise funds so that when the border reopens, he will be able to arrange passage into Egypt, and begin his journey to fully healing.
His family is already struggling to survive, relying on mutual aid for food and other basic necessities. They lost their home due to IOF attack, and none of them are able to work. This means Mohammed has no way to pay for his travel and treatment costs without your support.

Mohammed is the son of Ibtisam Al-Habil (@nohaibrahims-blog), whose campaign I have been sharing for a while. He has set up a separate campaign to help pay for his physical therapy, which costs $50 USD per day.
As of 11:20 GMT on 12 November 2024, Mohammed's campaign is up to €10,424 / €20,000, but he has received just €54 in new donations in the past 24 hours — with the GoFundMe fees, I don't think that's enough to pay for even one session.

My family is still staying in half of the church that wasn’t affected by the bombing because there is nowhere else to stay other than tents. They are limited to one small meal a day and one shower a week. They are sleeping on the floors, but no one can sleep since there is bombing everywhere around them. Even when there is no bombing, they can still hear the loud buzzing sound of the military planes above them, which would keep anyone who hears it awake. Along with everything, My grandma has diabetes and osteoporosis, so she can’t walk. She has to take her insulin medication along with many others; however, she has run out of many of her medications.” Am on my knees requesting for donation. Target $450

We were living quiet and safe life that was very beautiful before the invasion, and suddenly these cursed events broke out, destroying our lives in the Gaza Strip, our house in Khan Younis was destroyed🚀🏚, we were subjected to continuous displacement, and now we are homeless and living in a tent amidst the elements and widespread epidemics, and winter is coming.⛺️🌧
