Her gaze was tender, but the familiar way her gaze trailed across him made his stomach flip. What had he done that was making her feel that way in this moment?

"[I'm glad you're alright,]" He muttered into her loose hair and Zelda let out a soft, bitter laugh that sounded too much like a soft sob.
"[Says you,]" Zelda's arms tightened around him as she sniffled softly. "[You're the one whose lucky to be alive.]"

Rules: Give us the links to your fics with the most hits, second most kudos, third most comments, fourth most bookmarks, fifth most words, and your fic with the least amount of words. I got tagged by @bellecream~
Most Hits: To Hold The Sun - By far the most amount of hits for anything I've worked on so far. Zonai AU that was written before TOTK's release. There's been a lot of positive feedback on this one.
Second Most Kudos: To Catch The Moon - Sequel to the one above, still a work in progress, but has also been getting a lot of good feedback!
Third Most Comments: Collision Course - My first Zelink fanfic. This one is in a desperate need of a re-write, it doesn't reflect my writing abilities at all and I was very rusty when I started this one after a long break with very little creative writing. Modern AU.
Fourth Most Bookmarks: The Hands Life Dealt - Modern/Stripper AU. Originally was planned to be a long fic, but I lost inspiration for it and cut it back to a one-shot. Got two of the FUNNIEST asks of my life over this fic, if you know you know.
Fifth Most Words: 100 Follower Whump/Angst Request Compilation - Pretty self explainatory. This one originated on tumblr, but I smacked all my requests together into this.
Least Words: Nightmare - A short post-BOTW oneshot about Link having a nightmare.
Thank you again for the tag! Anyone who feels led to can say I tagged them.

Zelda blinked the tears rising to her eyes away and took the belt from the soldier's outstretched hands looking at it before clutching it to her chest.
"How did you-"
"I was on the Span when they captured you,'' the man said.

"[Don't apologize. We don't have time for that anyways]," Zelda hushed, trying to glance around at the soldiers closest to them again. "[Should we try to run?]" If they could just get to the tunnel again-
"[No]," Link replied, Zelda's gaze turning back in surprise. "[We don't have any chance of outrunning the horses.]"

Holy shit I finally finished another chapter of this fic and I haven't done that since JUNE. Summer really just- destroyed my will to do anything I guess. That and I was preoccupied with other fics and writing, but- Back to the awkward, less sad blond bitches.
A little bit of dialogue from the first chapter of 'The Hands Life Dealt' for WIP Wednesday!
The old stories said the Royal family was bestowed the Triforce by the Goddesses that was passed down through the blood line over the ages. It was the family's symbolic right to rule. Zelda thought it was a bunch of bullshit to keep people from questioning the royal's dark past and keep them in power. Same for the horrific stories of evil demons who nearly brought Hyrule to its knees tens of thousands of years ago only to be saved by the current bearer of the Triforce and a hero with the Sword of Evil’s Bane. But no one knew where the sword was and Zelda certainly didn’t feel any ‘divine kinship’ with the Goddesses. It was nothing more than a ruse.
Then Zelda met Link and fell head over heels for his roguish smile and his reckless affection. Then she started having strange dreams of what she could only guess were past lives. Then monsters started showing up and then showing up more and more frequently. Then she started having visions in the waking world, except-- Link saw them too. Then the unthinkable happens and she can’t help but call into question her stance on those ‘stories’ her father and mother had told her as she was growing up.

I pulled out a sketchbook for the first time in six months and got way too into what was SUPPOSED to be a practice sketch of Zelda from Collision Course, but it actually came out really good and I'm still not sure how I pulled off a decent piece after long.
Fluff, Surprise Kissing
Zelda ruins(sort of?) a moment.
Do you really remember me?
Link’s eyes watered at the blinding golden light emanating from the Princess as she raised her right hand aloft and it took him a moment to realize that they had continued watering long after Ganon had disappeared, just for a different reason. Zelda turned towards him and the skies returned to their pristine blue- the same blue as his tunic. No more was her voice or vision just in his head or in his dreams, instead she stood before him in the flesh and her voice reached his ears. The last effect Ganon would have from his obstinate bellowing as he was sealed by Zelda’s powers was the slight ringing in his ears from the deafening roars. It took him an additional few moments to register that she had even been asking him a question, he was so enraptured by her presence.
“Do I.. remember you?” Link repeated, voice hoarse, taking measured steps closer to her. He knew she was there, but he was half exprecting those ghostly flames the other champions bore to suddenly appear around her. Thankfully, they didn’t and he stopped a few paces away from her, taking in her golden hair reflecting the sunlight and her vibrant green eyes searching his and her smile- Goddesses, her smile- The Deku Tree didn’t lie when it said her smile was like the warmth of the sun; he could feel it seeping into his bones practically.
