Aziraphale “Ohmygosh Angel Crowley called me over ☺️☺️☺️”

Aziraphale “I remember every single date we have met and I danced for you.”

Aziraphale “I am soft.”

Aziraphale “Can you remove the stain from my jacket because when you do it it’s like it has never been there ☺️”

Aziraphale “Push me against the wall 😙”

Aziraphale “Anything I can do for you?”

Aziraphale “*forever heart eyes*”

Aziraphale “Oh noooo I have been captured, if only my handsome man were to save the damsel in distress with perfectly styled hair and carefully chosen clothes who’s hoping for a date.”

Aziraphale “Did you know Jane Austen Balls are known for having people confess their eternal love for each other *proceeds to create one so he and Crowley can dance together and confess*”

Aziraphale “Will I give one of my most precious possessions away for a chance to dance with Crowley?! *looks at him* Yes, totally, take what you want.”

Aziraphale “Oh my god I feel love” *grabs Crowley*

Aziraphale “Oh my god they’re talking about choosing their own side” *grabs Crowley*

Aziraphale “Our car! Our bookshop!” *sad face when Crowley moves out the second he’s back*

Aziraphale *chokes crying* “No!” When Crowley leaves.

Aziraphale *more heart eyes*

Aziraphale “Which outfit I shall choose for this damsel in distress rescue mission…”

I adore Aziraphale for being like this. He’s such a little princess. He’s in love and he’s not giving up. He will always find a way to be with Crowley. Gosh he adores him. He read his romances with heroines (angels) being taken care of by their handsome partners (demons) and he’s living it.

Aziraphale talking for the first time with Crowley when they’re both Angels is soooo “finally got to talk to my crush after I’ve been watching him for ages”.

He’s introducing himself, giggles, smiles, compliments him, already warns him to not get himself in trouble. Already a little jealous when he realises Crowley is only looking at the stars and calling them gorgeous not him.

He was probably flying around hoping one day he’d call him over so they could talk. Angel has been smitten by Crowley since the beginning of time. Crowley is not getting the hint? No problem. Aziraphale is not giving him up now.

Crowley is like that popular kid in school that everyone wanted to work with and hoped he will remember them. Do you remember me? Do you? What about me? Remember I stood right by you!

He was high rank, he was clever, he was doing the interesting jobs. And he was such a joy.

And then you have Aziraphale who was a cherub but he also liked the pretty Starmaker, and look at him being a determined Angel from the very beginning. The way he was planning that Ball in S2? So determined, just like he was to finally meet the Starmaker who he had a crush on. So he waited and tried to stay close and finally, finally the Starmaker called him over.

And he was everything he imagined. Well, apart from the fact that he had a crush on his stars not on Aziraphale, but hey he could work with that.

Besides, he was kind.

And sweet

And didn’t treat Aziraphale like he was less.

6 thousand years later Aziraphale still looks at him the same.

And Crowley pretends he doesn’t remember any of the Angels, apart from one.

The one who was kind to him back.

Hello Mr Gaiman. I have a possibly silly question: why does Crowley get angry at Aziraphale when he uses the word "fraternising" in episode 3? Does the word have some subtle meaning that eludes me as a non-native English speaker, or is he hurt that Aziraphale used such a detached word to describe their relationship?

Avatar

It probably does, yes.

1: to associate or mingle as brothers or on fraternal terms fraternized with the other guests at the party
2a: to associate on close terms with members of a hostile group especially when contrary to military orders were ordered not to fraternize with the enemy b: to be friendly or amiable
These days, although fraternize can still refer to a brotherly association or simple friendliness, it often occurs in contexts, such as fraternizing with the enemy, implying friendliness toward someone who would be better avoided.

Before cherub Aziraphale: Crowley scares cherubs with Beelzebub

After cherub Aziraphale: Whoever scares cherubs will have to face Crowley

"But weren't you the one who created the 42 Ways to Make cherubs Crap Their Pants?"

"Shut up"

" Bildad the Shuhite is drinking wine and has a very open mind tonight "

" Hereditary enemies, wily opponents. Surely they do their best to defeat each other. Heaven and Hell can rest assured that they have sent their finest employees to do the job properly".

Did he just call our poetic, biblical love ''fraternizing''?

"I love lots of other people to fraternize with"

Aziraphale, you hurt his little demonic feelings!!!

"Sir, that's my wife and I am so proud of her 😍!"

I want settled down aziracrow to have kids so bad. It's canon that Crowley loves kids according to a Neil Gaiman post.

I want Crowley to be the fun dad who takes their kids on activities that Azi, the anxious ( yet more responsible ) dad, calls "too risky for kids".

I want Crowley to be overprotective of their daughters and their future boyfriends to fear him. When they are little kids, he often carries them on his back, makes funny faces at them, gets them to pull little cute pranks on Aziraphale who barely holds himself from bursting into laughter, pretending to be strict etc

I want Aziraphale to comb their hair, dress them nicely, teach them all sorts of things being the nerd he is, and encourage them with their own unique hobbies. He teaches them manners, how to be good to other people but also how to put the rude ones in their place with sassiness.

I want Crowley to always tell his kids that Aziraphale's stubbornness and some of his ways can be difficult at times but still lovable, for you can't love a person without accepting their whole core.

I want Aziraphale to explain to them that when Crowley is grumpy, or snappy, it's because he has been through so much in his life, that he is really worried about their well being and that's his way of expressing it even tho it's not the way to go.

I want one of their daughters to regularly steal the Bentley at age 16 because I love her giving Crowley crap . She is basically him in many ways and when he bitches , Aziraphale is like "does she remind you of a certain someone?".

I want one of their sons to date an extremely powerful yet sweetheart nephilim, with whom they often do dangerous crap during their adventures, trying to help humans, loved ones etc. ( even tho they probably shouldn't...) Aziraphale and Crowley have foulproofed the house, the bookshop, the bentley as they have been destroyed in the past in 100 different ways.

I want one of their daughters to be so obsessed with poisonous plants and animals that she basically fills her room with those. Sometimes they escape and they cause problems to human visitors, so Azi and Crowley have to heal them on a regular basis. She doesn't even know if there is an antidote against most of their bites but she counts on her dad's powers ( or maybe she hasn't thought of it that much...).

Their kids are good, caring, booksmart like Aziraphale and noble, rebellious and streetsmart like Crowley; truly a very powerful combination. You can't expect them to be mundane, everyday kids.

I want aziracrow to have a Second Arrangement according to which, if something happens to one of them, the other one has to go on for their kids.

Unlike the first Arrangement with which Crowley came up, this one was suggested by Aziraphale who knows how emotionally vulnerable Crowley can be without him.

They seal their arrangement with a kiss and a hug while spotting some shooting stars, wishing that they won't ever need that one.

Imagine you finally spend more time with the one you love and protect, feel comfortable around him, but you don’t trust him enough to even tell him you’re homeless.

You’ve been pushed away and reminded you’re not good enough too many times.

But then he starts pulling. He stops underlining you’re not what he wants. He starts saying his Bookshop is your Bookshop, your Bentley is his Bentley, asks you to move in to watch over someone he’s protecting, involves you in the little mission, asks to do miracles together, sends you all the sweet signals by touching you and smiling at you with adoration.

Is he… finally… No. Don’t let yourself believe again. This happened before and it went to shit.

Don’t hurt yourself.

Then he asks you to dance with him.

Others notice. Others say they see the two of you. Others tell you to confess.

So you finally break.

This is not how you do things and it burned you before but ok fine.

So you confess.

Finally confess.

And he throws it back in your face. Calls you one of them, tells you to change, says nothing lasts forever. Not even the two of you.

So Crowley dies a little. Covers his face. Walks out. Drives off slowly.

What really is the point of it all?

I don't understand why some people say that ineffable husbands wouldn't be good parents. Crowley literally calls heaven and hell idiots to their faces like kid siblings who can't stop fighting over something stupid and succeeds in preventing a war of biblical dimensions. They all listen to him without stressing it further.

And Aziraphale literally goes " You will all speak one at a time" like a frustrated mum, and then gives the floor to Shax, smiling like a mum who wants to ease the tensions. Everyone goes quiet. And Crowley smiles from the window like " You go, baby!".

Avatar

Don't forget that Crowley gives big " don't you dare disrespect my wife" vibes about his love; For Aziraphale has been there with him since Crowley put the universe in motion as an angel and that never changed despite Crowley's fall, them becoming biblical enemies etc.

Loving Aziraphale has never been an easy task for various reasons, both external, internal and interpersonal ones. And it certainly isn't easy in the current timeline.

But his angel is the best thing that has ever happened to him, and their love is the only constant through and through.

When he walked away, he simply said "don't bother" but still waited outside in case Aziraphale had a change of heart, an epiphany or something. He was hurt, not offended.

They aren't just hot for each other, they LOVE each other FOR CENTURIES.

And Crowley won't just not love Azi or lose his protectiveness for him because his angel is being an idiot right now.

And Aziraphale won't stop thinking about Crowley for a moment; On the contrary, it will only grow stronger as he will miss him a lot ( and their kiss ) till they reunite again.

Never forget that Crowley is at his happiest when he is with Aziraphale; He jumpstarted the universe with his angel's help, sharing his joy with him when the nebula was created. Aziraphale really congratulated him with that cute big smile of his whereas heaven treated Crowley as just another employee; he did their bidding, and when he started to wonder about some questionable company policies, they threw him away, wiping out his memory, without recognising his vast contribution.

He had just fallen and was probably incredibly shaken but Aziraphale giving up his flaming sword for Adam and Eve made his whole face light up and laugh.

Over the years we see him becoming angrier, more cynical and distrusting with everyone else but with Aziraphale, he keeps getting softer and softer. Sometimes he acts like a whiney, grumpy fuck for a husband but is actually so grateful that Aziraphale always lets him complain and get it out of his system, not judging like everyone else does, and most importantly, *not leaving him*.

Because Aziraphale loves him just as much.

And Crowley would say some harsh words to people who bash the love of his life.

When Aziraphale died, Crowley got wasted. He talked about not wanting to become a demon. He basically says that the last million light years have been hellish for him, literally and metaphorically.

He didn't want to get kicked out of his home, rejected from his * birth family* but it happened and there's no going back. Ever since, life has been incredibly hard for him. And if it wasn't for Aziraphale, he would be completely lonely and lost.

And he knows that better than anyone else.

And he knows his love for Azi is much bigger than the sadness, the confusion, and the pain he feels right now.

He says to Nina and Maggie that they have been talking to each other for millions of years, that Aziraphale makes him laugh and that IT'S GREAT.

Crowley's situation and life sucks, but his time with Aziraphale IS GREAT. IT'S GREAT even if there's trouble they have to go through, because they are doing it TOGETHER.

And if his angel could not be physically present at times, Crowley's love for him, Crowley's memories of them, full of laughter were enough to give him strength.

Please, don't bash the love of his life. That would only destroy him more.

We all know that the Bentley is semi - sentient. If the brakes were the problem like Nina suggested, Aziraphale would have just fixed that. Instead he ordered her not to follow him because he knew that he had done everything right, brakes included.

I believe that the car loves when Aziraphale pets and sweet talks to her and that's why she acts like a puppy towards him the same way Crowley does so. Because Aziraphale gives his hubby the same love that the latter so desperately craves; the " you are a good thing no matter how tough and cool you pretend to be and I'll be extra careful with you" type of love.

Heaven casts him out and makes him literally a serpent that crawls to the ground.

And hell punishes him when he wants to protect his true identity, the one he cares about, the world etc.

Crowley feels like no-one ever cared about what he actually needs, except for Aziraphale. For his angel is always there for him, loves him, allows him to ask questions even if he doesn't always get it and lets him feel however he needs to feel.

Aziraphale is also the type of guy who drives slowly because he believes that it's the best for both of them, angel and car XD

And that's how you get a powerful demon and a car immune to fire to be like puppies for the sweet angel that pets, protects, and reassures them.

Crowley claims that the Bentley doesn't like him living in it either implying that; either he encouraged it to have a more independent and strong personality like Crowley does or the Bentley itself slowly took after him.

I believe it's a combo of both; I believe that Bentley becomes a mirror of Crowley, NOT his extension tho.

I think that if the car could talk, she would say to him: " you idiot, go move in with your wonderful angel" or "you screwed up again", out of love for Crowley of course.

I feel like Bentley would never take crap from Crowley like his plants do; if he makes her angry, she will get back at him.

And she didn't burn from the flames for many reasons: 1) Crowley talked to her like she is his kid ( I've had you from new = I raised you ), 2) He gave her strength ( You are my car and I am powerful so you are powerful too. Don't even think about it), 3) Bentley will always protect Crowley.

I think Bentley always "knew" how happy Crowley is when he goes to the bookshop, when he talks to Aziraphale on the phone, when he thinks of him while driving.

What she didn't know was that Azi can be so sweet with her too. It's not that big of a surprise tho.

So, she acts like a kid that really wants to see her dad stop dancing around that sweet person they really love and finally end up together, so she can have both of them for parents.
