Another one recorded from episode 10. I thought I had more but I forgot to hit record until I had begun the line art but that is ok because I really struggled with this page. I saved you from watching me rearrange it like 4 times.
With pages like this, where whatever action is happening is meant to overtake the entire page, I like to make the whole page like its own picture. So here you can see me generate the effects for the backgrounds. I have a handful of backgrounds pre-drawn, but I know with this one I had to crop together some different angles and even patch a pre-drawn with some fresh drawn and make it look cohesive. There’s an effect in Procreate called “Noise" which gives the panels their TV-static effect. It pops up instantly but in action I was dragging it back and forth to see how much static I wanted. It is all an exploration!
