The thought I had is maybe something happened, Yellow got angry, and tried to poof Star, but before she could do enough damage to poof him Steven stands in the way, trying to protect Star. He demands they listen, maybe takes responsibility for what happened. Yellow stops only cuz Blue calms her down and she concedes that Star has "made progress in training her pet" so leaves with just that "mild punishment"(the mild punishment leaving Star unable to get up off the floor for awhile because of the residual energy from her attack, but she considers it mild since she didn't poof him, or lock him up)

Sorry this wound up so long. My brain tries to make everything a story all it's own. 😂

Guys they’re both lonely kids without any friends of course they’re going to fall in love.

Anyways out of context comic for a whole scene I didn’t want to draw.

#for a while Connie was resistant to calling Steven her friend and him calling her his for a few reasons#partially bc she had gotten used to being a bit of a loner (even after joining the CGs)#she wasn’t used to all the affection and closeness that Steven offered and was kind of closed off#and also bc of the mistrust she still had towards Steven initially#even if she believed he was a victim of Pink Diamond and needed to be rescued#steven universe#su au#human steven#connverse#connie maheswaran#they're so cute

I don’t think it would be far fetched if he needed mobility aids in this AU (especially when far from Star).. Maybe when Steven goes to live on Earth permanently Star would have the mobility aid(s?) made for him as a gift 🤔

How did Star and Steven actually separate?

This is an info dump I keep avoiding, but I've gotten a few people in the past wondering how it works exactly. I always knew what the process was, but it's hard to put into words, so I kept procrastinating on talking about this.

I finally decided to make it its own post, rather than just answering the question through someone's ask.

Before I begin, I should probably explain some of my headcanons. Aspects of this AU began with self-indulgent speculating about how Rose's pregnancy worked.

For the art request: Star helping Steven through a panic attack? My brain says that thanks to the diamonds and stuff Steven would be prone to the occasional panic attack, where the pebbles would build him a little space he could crawl into and feel safe until he feels better.
