The thought I had is maybe something happened, Yellow got angry, and tried to poof Star, but before she could do enough damage to poof him Steven stands in the way, trying to protect Star. He demands they listen, maybe takes responsibility for what happened. Yellow stops only cuz Blue calms her down and she concedes that Star has "made progress in training her pet" so leaves with just that "mild punishment"(the mild punishment leaving Star unable to get up off the floor for awhile because of the residual energy from her attack, but she considers it mild since she didn't poof him, or lock him up)

Sorry this wound up so long. My brain tries to make everything a story all it's own. 😂

I don’t think it would be far fetched if he needed mobility aids in this AU (especially when far from Star).. Maybe when Steven goes to live on Earth permanently Star would have the mobility aid(s?) made for him as a gift 🤔

I just have a quick question I know gems don’t eat but does star ever? like if Steven’s refusing to eat something so star try’s it to get Steven to finish it

For the art request: Star helping Steven through a panic attack? My brain says that thanks to the diamonds and stuff Steven would be prone to the occasional panic attack, where the pebbles would build him a little space he could crawl into and feel safe until he feels better.

I love protective Star, so maybe Star protecting Steven from a corrupted gem?

My mind just made up a little story about how, in canon they mention the corrupted gems are drawn somewhat to the crystal gems, so what if when Star arrived on Earth for Steven, a corrupted gem was drawn in by his strong aura, but in finding Steven on the beach, attacks him. Star being the strongest and fastest(Connie and the gems were training, so they were all on the beach, but further away from where Steven was sitting, so they didn't accidentally hurt him with debris and Star was watching them all carefully) makes it to Steven, shields and protects him. Steven got a little scuffed up, but no injuries. 😁

I know this is more info than really needed but I swear sometimes your AUs make me want to write an entire fic about them. They're so interesting and fun!

Tbh while I was drawing this it hit me I need to give Star some sort of new design for while he’s on Earth. Something vacation-y

Once Steven gets to earth and discovers stuffed animals I feel like he’d definitely buy a lot of them but he’d be the type of person to have to sleep with them all they don’t feel left out. (Probably goes for canon Steven too but idk)

I just imagine Connie walking in one night and asking Steven about it and him going, “If I don’t sleep with them all they’re going to feel left out”

I plan to get into this more, but rn all I can say is yes. There’s so much I’d like to draw with the Maheswaran family and Steven, I imagine Connie’s parents would be understandably wary about him at first. Partly because he’s a boy Connie was alone with for about two months, and partly because he came from the place she was kidnapped to. But once they learned he was entirely harmless and relatively unaware of almost all human concepts, both Priyanka and Doug would welcome him.

The clown get up was a bit of a surprise though.
