To keep Yuri distracted while his grandfather gets together supplies for a surprise birthday party, Victor and Yuuri take Yuri out to lunch. It's hard to say whose timing is worse - theirs, or the robbers. Given the lengths they'd all go to protect their loved ones, however, it's probably the robbers. The lead up, the aftermath, each of their points of view are described as they try to survive the hostage taking of Restaurant Esli.
Snow White’s gun was instantly pointed at Victor’s head. “YOU shut the fu-” Yuuri wasted no time. He always had been a bit of an opportunist, Victor thought as his jaw dropped. Snow White howled as Yuuri brought what must have been all his strength down onto his foot with a mighty stomp, instantly dropping everything to reach for it. Victor watched in shock as Yuuri promptly ducked down, grabbed on, and heaved with a throaty growl, sending the larger body flying. Victor blinked. He could see one of the other diner’s jaw drop, which was fair, actually. ‘Well,’ Victor thought numbly. ‘He can bench press nearly double. Uh. Me. So.’ It was good training for lifts, even if Victor’s greater height could make Yuuri lifting him a little ungainly looking. It’d never stopped him, though. There was still a big difference between throwing a prepared partner into an elegant aerial spin, however, and hucking a guy across a room.
i feel like yuuri deserves to throw more people across rooms tbh maybe also cars

How ep 11 and 12 just threw away YoI’s chance at being realistic (albeit exaggerated) sports anime lol.
This is how the score should have been tbh. I stay close to the original scoring for SP, with Yurio’s WR is within the max score of the program.
For FS, Yurio violated Zayak Rule and fell on his butt. It costs him 13.5 points. Yuuri’s WR in this is 223.68 which is a lil bit over 222.56 (Victor’s).

im irritated and fanart depicting characters as 'thick' and 'chubby' and 'fat' according to the artist when the drawing depicts a skinny body type is a big reason why. is this a joke. its not a good one.
i love ships where its like if you took the characters and mashed them together you might MIGHT get one functional person. thats a great genre.
