|| ༻`` 17 Sept 24 — Tuesday

Despite being happy for like the whole day I did pretty much nothing, I:

  • Sat outside during lunch with some friends
  • Finished math homework
  • Played a lot with my dogs outside earlier 🦎
  • Did most of the writing for my artist research
  • and; walked one of my dogs

But now in the evening, I'm still trying to keep a light mood but things are just piling on top of each other more and more and I'm forgetting about and to do so mnay things... It's overwhelming and I feel kind of ashamed because of it..

  • I've still gotta put my bed sheets on (for context, it's almost 11pm).
  • J's birthday is tm and I haven't written a card nor gotten him anything.
  • I didn't revise for Chemistry (test on Friday).
  • I haven't updated the TSJ website nor started an entry.
  • I forgot to pick up a form for my friend earlier.
  • I didn't start either of the art collabs I'm doing this month.
  • I didn't start an art study for school.
  • I forgot to properly clean my retainers again.

_, Academic Weapon Challenge Day 17 ˎˊ-

|| Sleep: I only got about 6hrs sleep but after getting up to feed my dogs I didn't go back to sleep

|| Routine: I did snooze my alarm but had some water not long after getting up, washed my face, stretched and read

|| Deep focus: I worked more on the TSJ website (so excited!! It's gonna be published on the 2nd!) so the first article is not written up and I have only 1 thing left to check over.

|| Body: I walked my dogs around a river-forest park with my parents today and Bella (the younger one) was so brave and learnt to like the water!

|| Mind: I spent almost an hour painting. The watercolours are so so nice, and I don't use watercolours a lot in general but it was working out really well! The only thing about them is that they are not acrylics and less is generally more when it comes to them..... I need to remember that for next time....

_, Academic Weapon Challenge Day 8 ˎˊ-

|| Sleep: Maybe 7hrs 30?

|| Routine: I don't think I did anything

|| Deep focus: I was painting for most of the day. It's a gift for my dad on his birthday and the painting was taking foreverrrrrr

|| Body: I took both of my dogs for a walk and it was exhausting honestly, the younger one pulls on this lead and has no sense of personal space so she'll just push into my other dog. I'll definitely stick to walking them one at a time.

|| Mind: I listened to a good amount of Gone Girl and I'm (finally) nearing the end of the book! I also had a great and very helpful talk with J about some things that have been going on recently in my life.

_, Academic Weapon Challenge Day 9 ˎˊ-

I had an absolutely amazing day today!!

|| Sleep: Just over 6 hours of sleep (I talked with J till a bit after midnight, couldn't fall asleep and had to get up early to feed my dogs)

|| Routine: So after feeding my dogs I went back to bed for like 30mins (I was sooo tired 😮‍💨) but when that alarm went off I didn't snooze it, did 5 pushups and had a sip of water!

|| Deep focus: Just painting again (I finished the gift today!)

|| Body: I did 5 pushups before my bath and walked one of my dogs but when I was hanging out with K, A and J we walked around a good bit also (I love and cherish them so so much <33333)

^ Yes it was me that tied grass around A's shoelaces 😊

|| Mind: I listened to more of Gone Girl and read some of The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress

I also drove up to meet my friends and then back and I'm so much more comfortable driving by myself now and on the roads in general! (although they are familiar roads that I'm driving) and I'm getting better with parking!

I'll also start some new counters:

  • Day 1 clean (I sh and I've not done it for a few days and I don't do it often at all, and I wasn't planning on stopping but today I decided that I will :) )
  • Day 0 (I pick at my skin and nails a lot and I really want to stop, and I'm getting a lot better with it! but I haven't went a day where I haven't picked at my skin in some way for so so long)
  • Floor time ☑️ (a friend today mentioned that he likes to lie on the floor, another said that they do it too and I'd like to do it a lot more often. I feel like it might help a lot; in de-stressing, calming myself, resting in a better and healthier way, and helping to stop bad habits. So even if I'm feeling fine I'dstill like to lie down on the floor at some point each day) // 🍊

_, Academic Weapon Challenge Day 5 ˎˊ-

|| Sleep: Got 7/just over 7 hours of sleep. Took me a good while to fall asleep.

|| Routine: Once again I was prepared to get up right after the alarm rang but I still managed to sleep in for an hour and only get out of bed at 10. I did do 5 pushups though and had a sip of water not long after.

|| Deep focus: I made a few more physics notes.

|| Body: 5 pushups in the morning and I walked one of my dogs for 33mins.

|| Mind: Watched an online essay and breakdown of 'When the Wind Blows' ☢️ on youtube (it's so tragic... I highly reccomend) and I started a colour study on a random page.

I normally wouldn't put these under the 'mind' section but I gave the videos and the drawing my attention rather than also scrolling on my phone (whuch I stopped a few mins into of the video) and these activities also just calmed me.

This is it so far, and the star is quite deformed 😵‍💫 but I think it's looking pretty good. I'm looking to do more studies like this to fill the rest of the page with. // 🍊

_, Academic Weapon Challenge Day 4 ˎˊ-

|| Sleep: Good sleep. 7+ hours

|| Routine: I'm making miniscule progress. woke up maybe it was around 8? 7:40 maybe? But I turned my alarm off and sat up but then I just laid back down and kept moving my alarm for another hour

I also renamed my alarm to be 'Routine: ☀️💧💪🏻📖' so that should keep me reminded of my goals for each morning (to get up immediately, drink some water, exercise, and read)

|| Deep focus: I made more notes for physics 🖊, got 2 chapters done today

|| Body: I walked one of my dogs and it stated to rain half way through so we ran most of the way home (still got absolutely soaked tho! It was very fun however to run in the rain like that) and later I did 15 pushups and some pushup-planks (I don't know if what I did is actually a thing or not, probably not 🤷‍♀️)

|| Mind: I'll put down the writing notes for this too as I did do it to keep myself and my mind busy as I was feeling quite low beforehand.

Also post apocalyptic guitar does wonders for focus and keeping your thoughts down. This is the second 2hr playlist I listened to from the same channel and I absolutely love them. // 🍊

_, Academic Weapon Challenge Day 1 ˎˊ-

|| Sleep: Had my alarm set for 8, woke up just before that (somehow) but I had a nightmare and awoke somewhat stressed because of it so I let myself sleep in. I should have done it though without extending my alarm every 20 or so minutes until 1 ½ hrs passed..

|| Routine: Nothing yet, I'll plan this out better tomorrow but I'm thinking of having something for the morning like:

  1. don't move alarm — get up immediately
  2. do an exercise
  3. drink a glass of water
  4. read for a bit

|| Deep focus: (I need to do a lot better on this one..) I studied Russian for about 16 mins today (colours)

|| Body: I walked my dog for about 15 mins I belive it was? I need to find a good path to walk or even an area to run around with my dogs on but I've just been so anxious of getting out of the house since moving, nevermind the fact that the path I'm probably gonna find will take me past a few neighbourhoods (there's just something about walking closely past houses, especially ones not in my neighbourhood, that gives me so much anxiety). I also hope I'll be able to go back to doing pushups soon, I haven't been able to for a while because my wrist has been hurting so much..

|| Mind: I read a bit of The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress by Robert A. Heinlein. I've gotta finish it soon as well as Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn as I've been reading them since the start of July and barely read half of each.

Note: I'm really excited for this challenge! I think it'll be great for me and I'm hoping it will get me out of this depressive slump quickly! Also, for my 'mind' section, I'll note down any books I read (fiction, non-fiction or academic) as well as any mind exercises I do, such as sudoku puzzles, word games etc.

100 days of productivity 65 & 66/100

For some reason I kept thinking today was Friday.. I didn't finish all my chemistry notes but I finished 1 booklet and highlighted previous notes and I'm really happy with that anyway! Also, I did 25 pushups practically in 1 go!!! It's my goal for this month (which I've been building up to since January, around which I could barely do 1 pushup!)

Journalled today too and here is my plan:

  • I will keep micellar water and nail things by the sink (to improve and encourage general skin care)
  • I will keep my dog's leash on my desk (to encourage walking them more often —3x a week)
  • And I will get up to do something at 4.30 every day, even if only to sit back down after (to get some momentum and energy for other tasks)

For the remaining days of my 100dop I will report on my progress, as well as on my sleep schedule (🌙 10.30, ☀️6.30) —I was gonna say that it's 10.25 and I can actually still hit that goal today WOO!!!! But no its 11.25 TvT....

100 days of productivity 13/100

Day was quite productive. I also baked blueberry & raspberry pasties and they're so lovely!! Making them has to become a regular thing now. And despite it getting dark and having mild cramps I still walked my dogs so I'm really happy about that. Did all the chores I had to do, read and will continue to read, and I also revised some chemsitry. Although we have finished Unit 1 I feel like we still haven't covered everything because some things in the past papers aren't making sense. I don't remember doing those things... But, I'm gonna have to go to church tomorrow so I'll get breakfast and revise in a cafe before it and then walk home. I've got tomorrow planned out too and I'll revise extra for the time I missed today. Oh and I'll work on my art then too.

100 days of productivity 5/100

Was very productive today in school even though one of the classes absolutely drained me. I'll work on teaching myself most of the course. Plus I have my very first study entry of the year!! (It was a lot more than 15 mins but I don't count it during class). I also pushed myself to walk one of my dogs and I jogged for a very good amount. You can be sure I was wheezing at the end of it, but very feeling happy and proud of myself. I'm so tired now... goodnight everyone :)
