E told us today that my school allowed a student back in who has failed. It's so so unfair! They of course dropped the subject they failed but were able to chose a double-award one. That's 4 ALevels instead of 3!! If they failed before how would they not fail now with the extra pressure?? And maybe they are capable, but why give only one student this opportunity?? Plus that student will also have 2 ALevels and 3 AS levels because of it which is not right because everyone should have 3 ALevels (± with a BTEC). It's so stupid.

༻`` 2 July — Tuesday

I finally have furniture in my room again! Also I applied for my first summer job earlier!!

😮‍💨 Annoyingly so, I yet again didn't hit my goals for today (except for tidying — a bit) which were to study Russian and Art. I'm realising that I need to work on my goals earlier in the day and that they take much less time than I seem to think they do.

On a happier note tho, I repotted my plants (again) per the advice of my friend's mum so hopefully they'll all live and grow and thrive 🌱

And with that same friend's birthday coming up, I thought it might be a nice idea to make us some bracelets (inspired by that eye colour bracelet trend, except purely with thread). I know she doesn't wear jewellery except for a bracelet her little sister made, so if she'd prefer not to wear it then I'd just have 1 more in my collection! 🙃

Going to get started on hers now but mine looks so much more like mint chocolate ice cream than hazel 😢

༻`` 12 Feb 24 — Monday

Woke up late enough but I didn't let that put my mood down (especially that a longer sleep was probably needed) and got a lot done today! All the housework for tomorrow is finished, my dogs and I enjoyed a walk, I didn't make any physics notes but I thought about them if that counts 😅. I rewatched another episode of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier today with lunch and started making a notebook from spare pages I had! Never done it before and I am encountering issues as expected, but it's going well so far! (we don't talk about that 1 needle I kind of bent...). And also I worked on The Sci Journal website a bit! The 'about me' for everyone who submitted one so far is alsmot finished and I'm making progress with organising the subjects and tags.
