Amtrak, I love you, but that is probably not going to be a very good take because at least Artemis is advancing the betterment of scientific understanding. You can throw a fit when they launch USS Enterprise (CVN-80). That thing will have cost the US government considerably more than a moon mission and, as a bonus, it's probably happening sooner, too.
I wish they would gut the budget of something to pay for the trains. I really do. I just think directing your anger towards NASA (which is a comparatively minor money-sink) instead of the US military is probably not a productive use of time or energy.
