🕯️ SPELLWORK AND THE ECLIPSE 🕯️

It's time for that semi-annual reminder: DO NOT do your usual manifestation rituals during these next few days, and try to avoid any Spellwork if you're just a beginner or if you are feeling low energy!

Because of the Solar Eclipse, the energy is much different than your typical New Moon. Eclipse energy can absolutely be harnessed by experienced practitioners, but it is VERY chaotic and unpredictable.

Any Spellwork utilizing the Eclipse should revolve around major change for the best results - think Tower moment spells and things of the like.Do not use this New Moon for Manifestation or Attraction spells - you may not get what you're trying to achieve. Put extra wards and protections into place, and make sure someone knows what you're doing (even if it's just me! My DMs and mentions are always open)

Make sure you practice self-care before and after your Spellwork. Take the time to fuel up and recharge; don't push yourself, or it could have serious consequences for both your energetical and physical health.

Above all, be safe! Magic during this time period is unpredictable

Finally, before doing any major Spellwork, know how this Eclipse is aspecting your birth chart! The energy will affect different people different ways - it's hard to give specifics, but pay particular attention to your 12th House or aspects with Pisces or Scorpio placements.

it really gets me sometimes how utterly, obviously magical the world is if you’re willing to let it be. like, shadows out of the corners of your eye. tarot readings that are frighteningly accurate. three coyotes crossing your path, three days in a row: an omen, that, when you look up what it means, comes true within the next week. you see a white squirrel and have good luck for the next day. you sage and your stomach feels thick with negative energy, but afterwards the lingering sadness that’s been following you is gone. the same sensation in your gut around the sabbats, only to vanish when they’re over (but it’s comforting, this time). dreaming moments before they happen. candle magic. the feeling of a long-deceased cat curling behind your knees while you’re lying in bed, leaving a little round imprint behind where your visiting familiar slept. praying to the old gods for luck, for favour, for wisdom, and getting it, in whatever form you may have asked for. leaving chocolates for the fae and finding them missing. finding small pieces of jewellery deep in the woods, and wondering who left them there.

there is so much magic, if you’re just willing to see it.
