hi everyone. the batter will thicken as the flour hydrates. so start it a tiny bit runny and let it sit ten minutes to idk half an hour and it will be perfect. hydrated flour from rested batter also yields a significantly more tender pancake. peace and love

it doesn't sound rude, don't worry! hmm, i think it's hard to describe but the feeling the landscape evokes in you is hard to forget, it grips your soul to see this endless expanse of green and black, rolling cliffs and hills into infinity, it makes you feel like a small explorer in a new world. that landscape and deep connection with the land that its inhabitants have, given its harshness, is reflected in a lot of cultural productions out of iceland (first and foremost, in music).
