I actually truly adore how low-key useless the gentleman has been after having done so much to gain him as an ally in the begginIng of c2. like. they go thru all this shit for him but by the time they actually want to use his resources he’s almost always like “gee idk u guys this is kinda above my pay grade I’m like an early campaign NPC?? i could give you some horses?” and eventually they’re like cool well he’s jester’s dad so that means free room & drink for us I guess. do you think he’d AT LEAST be up for baby-sitting?? would that be beyond his resources? lets not even ask we’ll just show up. sounds good. finally reaping that sweet reward of being friends w/ a crime boss
