Susan Pevensie felt so damn useless after she returned from Narnia the second time. She was a queen in her own right, trained in combat, strategy, and diplomacy, and the idea of returning to school in the middle of a war that was destroying her home and wreaking havoc around the world was abhorrent to her. Her siblings returned to school, still dreaming about the world they had just left behind, but Susan believed that she could do her part for the war effort. While touring in America with her parents, Susan found her way to the local recruitment office. There she met Agent Margaret Carter of the Strategic Scientific Reserve.Under her fellow Brit’s tutelage, Susan became a master agent, honing her skills in intelligence and spycraft for the Allies all over Europe. After the war ended, Susan chose to stay with the SSR, and she became one of their best. She was beautiful and smart, and men were drawn to her, and she was capable of extracting every secret and knocking them out before they even knew what was happening. She learned to wear nice dresses and lipstick as her armor, protecting herself and those she loved most in the world. After her family died in a horrific train crash in 1949, Susan cut all ties to her former life, dedicating herself fully to the agency. Susan Pevensie died alongside her family; in her place, Carolyn Jones became one of the best operatives in the business. She died on a mission six years later while protecting a whole building of innocent civilians. In the midst of her adventures as a secret agent, Susan never truly forgot her years as queen or the times she and her siblings spent in Narnia, and when she arrived in Aslan’s Country, she was reunited with her family, Susan the Gentle once again.
