Also Clayton avoided social media pretty much from the 2019 NLDS till ST. Probably to avoid the nasty comments people were leaving on his old posts. The way he was treated made me so, so angry. If you don't love your faves at their lowest point, you don't deserve to celebrate the World Series win.
i don’t blame him for that!! it’s the same reason i never use social media anymore... but he’s super awesome and famous and stuff, so of course he takes way more heat and the pressure and spotlight is constantly on him. this angel of a man. i literally cannot understand how anyone can be so nasty towards another human being, let alone such a cinnamon roll like Clayton Edward Kershaw!!! i mean jUST LOOK AT THIS FACE~

The Dodgers fans REALLY disrespected Kershaw after the 2019 playoffs. People were defacing photos of him, running over his jersey, posting videos of throwing out their merchandise, and posting about how he needed to be gotten rid of on the internet. It made me so angry. Few people have poured their all into this game more than he has and he's got to be one of the best guys in the game. After the WS, it seems to be better, but I don't forget what people did.
