For 6 years I’ve had the privilege to see Kim Jonghyun’s highest and lowest points. Sometimes I thought to myself “he is so selfless I can’t even bear it”. My heart broke when I saw him cry as he blamed himself for everything. Even at NU’EST’s very lowest point last year, when his career was at stake, where being slightly selfish would be understandable, he still chose to help other people. But his unparalleled ability to see the best in people and put others before himself is what won the heart of a nation. His trait which could have been his downfall was the very thing which played such a big part in saving his group. His passionate lyrics touched people while his smile melted hearts. Even after years of struggling he never complained, only promised to work harder and did so, making him an inspiration for so many people. He deserves every ounce of love given to him on this very special day; Happy 23rd Birthday our beloved Leader Kim Jonghyun❤️ you are so very loved.
