Ever since they were kids, Iwaizumi’s said the same thing to Tooru again and again

thinking about kaoru's client introduced him to kojiro at sia la luce and kaoru sitting there pretending he doesn't know him, as though he doesn't know that kojiro throws his socks at the hamper from across the room instead of placing them in it, that he always has a hair tie in his back pocket for when kaoru loses his, that he sings in italian while showering, that he has this particular little smile he gets before he kisses kaoru, that he'll lay in bed for hours after he woke up just so that he doesn't wake kaoru up. as though kaoru wasn’t there holding kojiro’s hand when he got his tattoo, when he opened the acceptance letter that told him he’d be going to study in italy, when he nailed his first ollie, when he won his first race at s, when he opened the doors to the very restaurant they’re sitting in now. as though he hasn’t seen kojiro at his highest moments and held him through his lowest, as though kojiro hasn’t seen kaoru’s own highs and held him through his own lows. as though they haven’t grown up loving each other, as though they don’t know everything about each other, as though they haven’t promised their lives to each other, as though a wedding ring from kojiro doesn’t hang on a chain around kaoru’s neck and rest over his heart.

Reki and Langa

Utsumi: I think that Reki and Langa are irreplaceable best friends. I think that every day, even at school and outside of school, they are with each other day and night skating. I had a friend like that when I was in school, and so every day was really fun, so I think that if Reki and Langa are always like then it's a really good thing.

Gotou: I really like how Reki and Langa are right in the middle of their adolescence and are skating with tons of hopes and dreams. When I see them, it makes me feel like I'm having fun too. I hope that these two always stay so sparkling.

the absolute power move of starting yoi with victor and yuri both mirror-skating to stay close to me alone and making their performances a plea for love, affection and acceptance and then ending the show with them skating together to the same song, having found what they were looking for and so much more, a sense of belonging with the other person, unconditional love, and turning the song from a sad act of despair into an outward love declaration !!!! i am combusting

when one character brokenly says “i have nothing to offer you” and the other character looks at them with fond exasperation, because there’s nothing else they could want except the gift of their love. that shit gets me.
