hi everyone :-) i've finally gotten around to updating my theme & pages - i've simplified my oc page, and made it more of a hub to make it easier to find specific tags as well as added a little page with general info about me + the blog . hopefully this should work better!

LMFAO not necessarily scam infomercial stuff specifically but i think myrielle would be so bored just sitting at home all day letting other people do all her housewife duties that for a while she gets really into, like, mlm pyramid schemes and she does really well because she promotes it on her mom instagram and puts a bunch of unsuspecting people in debt. then she gets tired of it and drops it

i think to some degree there's something tragic about all of them . but i think the sort-of-obvious answer here is naerys, considering very little in her life actually went right 😭😭😭 rhaella for similar reasons. so terrible. as for the men ... well objectively he doesn't have the saddest life or anything because i think things were pretty alright until the tourney at ashford but baelor breakspear genuinely makes me want to cry a little bit. i think about him and get a stomach ache
Discovered your blog/oc tag recently and I’m super obsessed with the outfits in your art (esp the bolton siblings bc idk that’s the goth in me), was curious if you have a good source for looking at accurate historical clothing references at all?
hehe thank you anon!! i loveeee making little outfits... it's hard to recommend one specific site because i do pull from a lot of different fashion eras and inspirations and my stuff definitely isn't super historically accurate - at this point i've just curated my pinterest enough to where i get a lot of inspiration basically spoonfed to me LOL but sometimes i use this site:
which is basically just a compilation of items (paintings, clothing, etc) from different historical periods :-) with the right filters theres a lot of cool stuff in there. i also love looking at opera costume design for inspiration, which isn't really historically accurate 99% of the time but very beautiful. if the accuracy is important i'd recommend looking into groups online who do historical reenactment/recreate historical clothing as well as looking in your local library if you have a section for clothing & historical fashions!!

you know what the thing is, you draw beautifully and it’s clear you put details and meaning in your art, but you somehow miss a lot when it comes to understanding the books which ultimately is very sad.
i hope you know that adding a compliment in front of this does not make it any less rude and condescending and frankly i think assuming that you're some kind of authority in understanding the books in the correct way is kind of funny
