Ok if things were a little different for the writing of Star Wars, which blonde 70s actress would’ve made a better Luke Skywalker

Dinluke and Codywan are my favorite ships because both include a mando boyfriend trying to get their Jedi to wear similar armor to their own

I love the idea of Luke and Din saying the mandalorian marriage vows when they’re in a tough mission they don’t think they’ll get out of. Din asks Luke to marry him, he says he knows that he should’ve asked much earlier than now but Luke tells him he can’t think of a nicer way to go than as Din’s husband. Din takes off his helmet and they spend their seemingly last moments embracing. Until everything just seems to go right and they miraculously survive (no way the force is letting them die).

After they’re safe, Luke still coming down from the adrenaline of almost dying like “oh wow, we’re actually married aren’t we?” And Din being his usual self conscious self asks “you uh..you’re not having any second thoughts are y-“ but before he can finish, Luke brings him in for a kiss and affectionately answers “not at all, afraid you’re stuck with me forever”

Then they’re unreachable for the next month or so, too wrapped up in newlywed love to even com anyone and tell them they got married. Like imagine Leia’s finally had enough silence and flies to Yavin IV and finds Ahsoka watching Grogu

“Where is Luke?? He hasn’t responded to any of my messages with more than a ‘hey don’t worry I’m alive’ for almost a month”

“Oh, him and mando are on their honeymoon”

“HONEYMOON??”

The “Jod Na Nawood is Obi Wan’s son” theory is funny cause that would mean Anakin Skywalker’s children are the seemingly put together Jedi figures and Obi Wan’s kid is the dumbass menace to society

I keep thinking about a Star Wars animated series about the new republic. The clone wars animation is nostalgic but imagine it in the 2003 clone wars special with the samurai Jack art style.

I just need at least one episode where Luke and Leia go to Naboo, help the current queen, and learn more about their mother in the process and how she is still so beloved and remembered

What do I think would get Han Solo, bounty hunter hater, to fully accept Luke and Din being together? I think back on when Han was released from the carbonite, that bubbly farm boy who was his best friend was pretty much gone. Replaced with the stone faced ever calm Jedi. Sure Luke was still Luke, that fun loving farm boy still shines through the Jedi mask now and then but he’s different than before.

Except when the mandalorian is around. Whenever that guys with Luke that same twinkle in Luke’s eye is back, that same smile that reaches his eyes, that same bubbly laugh he can’t hold back whenever the bounty hunter tells him something even remotely humorous. Han can even see the effect Luke has on Mando, the cold brick wall that crumbles every time Luke steps into the room. They’re disgustingly sweet and way too obvious, but if anyone can break his friend’s mask, bring Luke Skywalker back to himself, they’re alright in Han’s book

Luke Skywalker’s in for a world of trouble. Not only is the mandalorian a skilled fighter, an amazing father, and a good hearted person, but he’s also got the sweetest brown puppy dog eyes that Luke has ever seen. Luke wouldn’t be able to keep the Jedi “no attachments” rule even if he tried

I love the idea of mandalorians wearing something from the each other when they’re married. And the Dinluke headcanon of Luke having something beskar is always so wonderful but I also need Din wearing something that represents Luke in some way, I need it

Ok I’m thinking about Din saying goodbye to Grogu, removing his helmet and how that means so much to him. He became dar’manda from that, in a way he as a mandalorian died. And I think Luke would be very understanding since his own father removed his helmet at their final goodbye despite the consequence if he did

Both instances were fathers wanting to see their son’s clearly for, what they thought, was the last time

If Jedi Luke Skywalker wears all black then we can agree Sith Luke Skywalker would wear all white right?
