Uncompleted Fics
One of my many, many, many pet peeves about fanfics is when they are left unfinished for months (and eventually years)! Some of the best G/CC fanfics I’ve ever read still aren’t completed! It’s like the authors dropped off the face of the earth! Examples include:
Gradual Love by Leia
Widowed (can’t remember the author but it’s on ff.net)
Just A Little Cut by Serina Tsuki
Even If She Hates Me by Kakkabrat — like When Worlds Collide, this is yet another Goku and Chichi break up fic, but unlike the aforementioned story, Kakkabrat at least got them back together before leaving it uncompleted!
I understand that real life can interfere, but seriously, it’s not fair to leave readers hanging!
Gradual love is in my top fav GCC fics!
WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE. DON'TMAKE ME TALK ABOUT IT. FUCKING LOVE IT. Really! When worlds collide was one of the first GCC fics I've ever read and it hooked me even more with the OTP.
Personally, I too get sad/angry when reading a great fic that is uncomplete but I guess we can do anything. I just click of "follow" story and hope that maybe someday I'll get an e-mail saying my loved fic is updated! It's really really important to try to understad fanfiction authors, they do it for free and out of love to writing, so we have to understand that they may lose interest in some fics or that they just forgot about it. Sad, but we have to understand :( even tho I want all those uncomplete fics to have a end D:

Krillin, you little shit.
I still want to write that detective fic, but coming up with actual mysteries is harder than I thought. But I really wanna have shitty!Krillin moments like this ok and accidentally homicidal ChiChi cling onto Goku. I want Goku to leave their clients’ homes without food, and for Master Roshi to be their first suspect for each case like, “master roshi another girl has been complaining about feeling as if she’s being stalked do you have anything to do with this”. I want Krillin to have to deal with both ChiChi and Goku not understanding the world to the same level as him, and just face palming whenever they do something that makes him embarrassed. Maybe I should have a Detective Conan marathon for inspiration.

An AU with the original Z-crew as mafia members? Hurrrrr. Goku would be the leader, a title passed onto him by Grandpa Gohan. His blunt and mischievous behaviour causes the group to get into a lot of fights and misunderstandings with rival groups, and believe me, everyone gets tired of his shit sometimes, but his strength and contagious optimism are what keeps them functioning, honestly. Yamcha is, as always, the one with the encyclopedic knowledge of every mafia member they should be aware of, and all the miscellaneous things no one else bothers to research. His real goal is to marry a beautiful girl, but with the shenanigans the group gets into, it’s a bit hard to do. Also, he’s scared of them, and likes to play it off as if he isn’t, but everyone knows. C’mon Yamcha, you’re too obvious. Krillin had no connections with the mafia life before, but Goku saved his butt one day, and they became buddies quite quickly. He’s the guy who has all the guys. You need someone to wash your dog? He got it. You need to buy a jet? He knows someone who’s selling. Why does he have all this information? Because he’s a nice guy, and has been travelling around for quite some time, that’s why. Tien Shinhan and Chaotzu were members of a rival group, until they were sent on a suicide mission, and realized what an ass Master Crane was. Also, they unintentionally made their ex-group go into a huge debt, and got their asses out of there before anyone could notice. Oops.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH YISSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
Goku is like the kind of leader that encourages everybody! "We're gonna do it guys. We're gonna defeat everybody!"
I'd like Krillin to be the one with the biggest brain there, like he didn't know an ounce about that world but as soon as he is in HE BECOMES SO GREAT AT IT (And heck yes! He knows a lot of people that can help them without hesitating) And I'd like Yamcha to be the kind of guy that picks up in fights because he can't keep his mouth shout (always boosting himself and the other guys)
LOVED THE TIEN AND CHAOTSU ONE. GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAT. They find out that Crane just wanted to get rid of them and decide to take revenge on him!

To be real for a second, so much fandom smut stuff is boring as hell. Even non-straight pairings often carry the ghost of straight porn and heteronormative roles and cliches.

currently reading it now. so far, so good. i'll take anything! i like canon pairings best (goku x chichi are my favorite, though), but i'm easy to please! as long as its well written and has a good plot, or is an original idea. (:
Ahhh! There’s a bunch of Goku x Chi Chi fanfics that I recommend! I think those are the only ones I really read :) I’ll just give you a couple for now and if you like them then I’ll be happy to recommend some more!

Here’s a funny one with Goten and Vegeta (not yaoi, it’s just very sweet)
The last one I recommend (for now lol) is another funny one. Vegeta and Goku are forced to take classes for different reasons (Vegeta for anger management and Goku for GED classes) and to make it easier on themselves they switch places!
All of these fanfics have creative plots (in my opinion) and most are written well. So now you know that the last thing you want to do is ask me for fanfic recommendations because I can’t just give one or two! I hope you like these and you can always come back for more! Have fun fangirl-ing!
