It’s the way Jod seems almost… happy that he lost, because it means that for at least some kids, the fairy tale of good over evil came true
Something about how Jod described the good in the world as “pinpricks of light in the dark.” Something about how keeping the Barrier up only let the pirates in but finally taking it down let the X-Wings chase they away— let the real good guys come in and save them. Something about how taking the Barrier down let the citizens of At-Attin see stars for the first time, see all the pinpricks of light in the dark, and see just how many there really are. Something about how even in the worst places, even in the worst moments, there will always be more good than you realize, and if you hide away you’ll never be able to see it.
"Everywhere we went, even the worst places, there were good people, too. "
ANYWAYS WIM GOT HIS JEDI/LIGHTSABER MOMENT NOT BECAUSE OF SOME LAST MINUTE FORCE SENSITIVE BULLSHIT REVEAL BUT BECAUSE HE’S A GENUINELY GOOD AND COMPASSIONATE PERSON WHO WANTS TO PROTECT OTHERS AND THAT MAKES HIM MORE OF A JEDI THEN JOD WILL EVER BE I KNOW THAT’S RIGHT
i love neel man
I’m loving skeleton crew so much
Skeleton Crew episode 6 said, Oh no! They've been betrayed and they're truly on their own now, and all their decisions are wrong and their friendships are fraying and there's no hope
BUT WAIT Their wrong decisions come together and they end up exactly where they need to be to escape! Fern learns to listen to others and be patient with their differences and demonstrates that she is more faithful than KB gave her credit for! Wim gets to be a hero and save someone's life! KB realizes Wim and Neel are her friends now! On the ship they're starting to fall into roles within the crew and work together!
And then REBIRTH! The ship (and thus the crew) is reborn! They went into the underworld (the tunnels), they faced betrayal (Jod) and death (KB dies and comes back!) and then are reborn!

I haven’t seen anyone else say it, so I’m gonna.
Jod might be a Jedi survivor, or perhaps he’s some kind of untrained or self-trained Force sensitive person.
It’s also a possibility that he’s more like Sabine.
Jod may be a person who lacks a detectable level of Force sensitivity but who has trained himself to do Force tricks in order to adopt the identity of a Jedi at his convenience.
“The Force flows through us all,” said Jod in response to the increasing questions about whether or not he’s a Jedi. But since he does not seem like an actual, trained Jedi and riffed out that one-liner without any credible explanation for his abilities, then perhaps this, along with his quip about “practice”, could support the idea of him being a sham Force user. Someone who knows tricks without much else to go on. Someone who is “spiritual but not religious”.
He may be a Force user that’s not Force sensitive.
