So, I was so miffed when I see someone comment on someone's fanfic in YoI fandom (the story where Victuri get married) that they, the author, should know that the country where the Victuri get married is not allowing gay marriage and that they should have give some warning or reminder about it because in the fic, the story have no conflict/problem about the Victuri GAY Marriage. 

I mean, FOR HEAVEN SAKE THIS IS THE YURI ON ICE FANDOM!!! THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOW THAT YURI FREAKING ON ICE WORLD IS SUCH A PEACEFUL WORLD WHERE LGBT IS NOT A PROBLEM!!! STATED BY THE AUTHOR HERSELF!!! AND SO OBVIOUS IF THEY WATCH THE WHOLE ANIME WITH WIDE EYES!!! DO THEY HAPPEN TO SEE THE "NO HOMO" PART OR "IT WAS JUST BRO THING" PART???

I mean, if any author should give a warning or reminder to the readers, is if the story happen to have conflict/plot that would based on the real world where, yes, LGBT still a problem to some people and countries. Or if the story happen to contain some homophobic people or words. But if they don’t give that warning either is fine, because we understand. Especially since YoI is in a Normal Modern Universe like ours (though but much nicer and peaceful).

The fic was published long after YoI already ended and Kubo already made the statement about what YoI Universe like. So it was definitely not an old fic with old knowledge. That’s why I’m getting so annoyed. 

Have you realize that YoI fic is probably the only fic where in most fic when you read Gay characters in Love and get together they don’t have problem with “but we are both males” thing that will lead to “we can’t get married” “our country wont accept us” etc without have to be in Soulmates or A/B/O or Supernatural or Sci-fi or Fantasy Universe. (my best example to fic that literally have no problem with it was my favorite Arranged Marriage Victuri fic “The Rules for Lovers”. The conflict in that fic was only Politic so far.)

Most of us do agreed with the Headcanon that there’s no way Victor and Yuuri had sex at Sochi when Yuuri was hella drunk, right? 

I mean I know there’s Mature or Explicit fic/doujinshi/comic out there who write/draw them did that. But that’s more like “What If” thing, right? 

I did read some of them and favorite them, but we were sure Victor won’t let drunk Yuuri have his way or let himself have his way, right? 

If… IF Yuuri interpret the story rightly. IF the story of Eros that Victor choreographed was really about Playboy who try to make the Most Beautiful Woman fall for him, WHY most people in YoI Fandom think IF Victor was the one who would skate it (in an AU where he never take a year break) he would wear his old costume or something that almost similar to his old costume?

They do remember right that when Victor told Yuuri the Eros Costume portrayed androgynous character, that’s when Yuuri know he could just think he don’t have to be the Playboy who chasing, but the Beautiful Woman who trying to seduce the Playboy (in that case; Victor).

So if Victor would skate On Love: Eros, he won’t wear androgynous costume. He probably would wear dress shirt with pants or something like that.

I mean no offense to any Gender, Sexuality, People’s Preference, Headcanon, or Anything that people would relate about this post.

It was like Georgi’s Costume and the story of the Tales of Sleeping Prince. The Singer is (I assume. Correct me if I’m wrong) a Female. The Costume is Androgyny, though more lean to femininity. The Sleeping Prince is Anya.

I put the words “IF” because as far as I know, Victor never confirm if Yuuri interpret the story right or wrong.

And I say most people in Fandom because I have only ever see ONLY ONE person draw Victor dance Eros in Dress Shirt and Pants, and ONE FIC (published Post-ep10/S1) that in the fic Victor agreed why Yuuri dance and portrayed as Beautiful Woman works because is good for being Beautiful and Seductive and playing hard to get.

If the Finebros won’t make people react on Yuri on Ice when the season 2 exist, i will be so disappointed! 

They did it with Attack of Titan. Make sense because it was the Rare, Phenomenal, Popular, Very Gore, and Tragic Manga that become Anime. (I love it too)

But now there’s another Phenomenal and Rare different Anime. An Original one! Based off none! The most popular for Fall Anime 2016. The Anime that ‘saved’ 2016. The one that Popular to even the REAL Figure Skating! The one that Sold! The one that wasn’t queerbaiting! The one with unexpected Plot Twist! The one that break Tumblr and Crunchyroll ! 

I just want to see what people think about this anime. The one who haven’t know or watch it since the first few episodes of the anime aired. 

As much as I love to think Yuuri bought two rings (so that’s mean Yuuri the one who pay all that. And so my future HC where Victor would buy another rings as wedding rings and make them wear two rings), the canon scene did not make sense to me. 

If... IF (since no canonical confirmation on my or other people’s theory) Yuuri really the one who buy TWO rings, why/when/how/why/what reason Victor hold the other ring before put it on Yuuri’s ring finger? 

I’m having a hard time imagine Yuuri ask Victor to hold another ring and then put the other ring and maybe ask Victor before to put it also to his finger? 

The way his eyes widened, the way his breaths hitched, and his body (slightly) trembling, no one can tell me he wasn’t surprised by the ring Victor put. 

I’m not saying Victor had intend to propose to Yuuri in Barcelona before Yuuri. But someone can think, and prepare, and even keep holding the ring for days, weeks, even months, as comfort, and before he get the right time to give or the intention was solid with no hesitation.  

But why similar ring? and why gold?

I don’t know. There’s time skip in Anime. Lot of time skip before the day of the competition. The might or may not talk about it before? After ep 9? Especially when Victor had brought the marriage proposal conversation. Wanting gold?

Look, I would be very very very very very happy if Yuuri was really the one who bought the two rings. But the exchange rings scene just did’t support the theory. This is not a wedding scene where the rings was prepared in front of them to get pick and put on the Married couple’s finger.
