This summer, I will be directing an adaptation of the Bonnie and Clyde adventures: The Deadliest Instruments a modern vaudevillian drama written by local artist, Kirsten Mccory. It opens in August at the Triple Door.
“Blanche and Buck are a new couple in love and about to embark on a new life together since he has served his time in prison and given up on a life of crime. Then Buck’s younger outlaw brother Clyde brings chaos and death into their lives.
Based on the historical facts of Blanche Barrow’s time with Bonnie Parker and Buck and Clyde Barrow, this short play deals with finding and losing love, familial obligations and those most deadliest of instruments, our own hearts.”
I am so excited for this. Let the research begin!
