When you think about it, casting all the newsies alums in Mean Girls was smart-they knew their target demographic is teenage girls.
I really hope DeMarius Copes understudies Damian in the Mean Girls musical.
Mostly because I want to hear him say “She doesn’t even go here!”

today I was at dinner with three people who are my friends but we’re really not that close and it’s kinda a random assortment so that’s why this story is so strange. so there was Christmas music playing in the commons and jingle bell rock came on and naturally we started talking about the iconic film that is mean girls and decided that it would be funny for us, an odd assortment of non-dancers, to learn the dance from the movie. We laughed about it but then we got serious about it and long story short, we’re flash mobbing it at a Christmas party next week and I’m Gretchen and there is a large blonde man playing Regina and I am just in awe. But it’s a secret so don’t tell anyone shhhh
