I'm not buying it. It's totally shoehorned and I literally give no shits about it. 

Why would an intellectual woman of science like Jane be enamored and smitten with a seemingly delusional linebacker like Thor? Like, she barely knows him. He's talking ancient nordic myths. The fuck. Am I missing something here? Just cause he's got a six pack that makes him irresistible?

Yeah, I'm not loving it. There are some beautiful examples of symmetry, but I've never loved Kenneth Branagh's style. 

I see a LOT of his Hamlet in this movie -- the grand halls and exuberant wide shots. And then juxtaposing that you have this handheld style that really doesn't fit. I think maybe he's trying to establish a visual distinction between Asgard and Earth, but it's too subtle to have any impact on the film and distracting for someone like me. 

So I'm watching Thor the first time and I'm finding it very entertaining. 

I know so much about what happens in this movie from Tumblr and it's hilarious. 

Loki's bitchfaces are cracking me up.
