Destiel shippers were recently accused of ‘attacking’ and ‘bullying’ the writers because half a dozen of disrespectful tweets from some. It’s not fair to generalise.
We didn’t like it, let’s not do the same guys. It’s not about wincest shippers. It’s about Cas haters and Destiel haters. Those are the.. ‘kumquats’.
I wasn't meaning to call out Wincest shippers. I was simply trying to say that that's probably why she found this particular episode so worth of hate. I know all wincest shippers aren't like that. I even said "have you opinion, but be respectful about it." I have no problem with wincest shippers disliking an episode or even a character (castiel) as long as they aren't kumquats about it.

or maybe just maybe we're learning more about mental illness and finally understanding its impact on behavior and are learning to prevent it/treat it instead of chalking up depression and anxiety to "overreactions" or "laziness." Like, maybe some people are fucking glad there are so many different kinds of anti-depressants on the market. Because they NEED them. Because their fucking BRAINS don't make enough of certain kinds of chemicals and medication helps to fix that imbalance. I understand that sometimes medications are over-prescribed and that our medical industry is run at the mercy of pharmaceutical companies, but that doesn't fucking invalidate the diseases finally getting the recognition and treatment they deserve. So whoever made this, whoever has the idea that all this concern with emotional and mental health is just namby pamby new age liberal bullshit can eat a dick. Don't you devalue you my struggles. Don't you devalue the struggles of the depressed and the mentally ill. We've always had symptoms. We just didn't have the knowledge to recognize them as such.
