This idea rattled around on my head for a while, to paint his face that day rainbow to elude to the pants. It was a fun experiment and I’m glad I could use this challenge to finally try it! 🥰🌈

This one was a weird one, the paper took the gouache super weird so the portrait came out super velvety, which I liked. But then the background turned out kinda weird🤨 but that’s just the magic of a daily challenge✨

For this one, I wanted to draw Pedro with his best girl Olive 'cause I think that there should've been more Olive in the Esquire photos & the fact that there isn't is criminal. I also found a photo from another Esquire shoot from a few years ago (2019-2020?) that inspired me to make this!!! PP taking Olive out for a drive. You wanna come with?

Day 5, the return of everyone’s sexiest Detective. If you’re not here for Tim Rockford, then I’m sorry I feel for you. I wanted to include Tim & thought this would be a very fun way to do it. Have him show all his sides & then have you hanging on his every word. & that Esquire look Pedro had going… damn. Could have used so many photos for this, but ended up just going for this one.
Synopsis:- Your photo shoot falters when your model is late, how can your hot boyfriend help out.

Do we like that red in the back? I agonized over that. He was almost dark purple or evergreen. But I’m a big fan of that burgundy and i realized I Never paint with it?? Slap some sense into me.

My goal for this challenge was to be a little more bold and do a few new experiments and this feels like it gets the job done! It’s also a photo that’s been on my To Be Painted since LAST pedrotober, so I’m very pleased with how it turned out🥹
