That, right there, is the only way I can see Benzaiten and Nureyev ever being friends. He steals (snerk) into Benzaiten's dressing room and talks aimlessly but intelligently about cryptids and just when Benten is going to be like 'wow thats brilliant, actually,' says 'oh isn't that your cue?' And Disappears.

Ben comes home from that performance in awe. He can't stop talking about this ethereal guy he met. Were they God? Did he just meet God? Was it all a dream? All he knows is he met the person destined to know his true soul & didn't even get the guys name?

“You can’t put that on there, it’s a social, not a datemate!” he snaps, glaring into the comm shoved into his face and pushing it away.

“Uh, yeah I can, I just did,” Benten says breezily. “Presto, Juno Steel is on the line, like, you know, a normal teenager.” He changed the view and throws himself beside Juno, mugging it up for the vid.

“First of all, this is why you get beat up at lunch time, second of all I don’t need to be on the line, who is going to be looking for me?” Juno doesn’t bother to tell him that he’s making them look like theater masks next to each other, grinning like that while Juno scowls. Ben already knows and it’s literally his favourite thing to do in pictures.

“No, I get beat up because you have the personality of a stray cat and we have sameface.”

“Shut up!”

“You shut up!”

Juno pushes, Ben squawks and the comm and it’s stream tumbles to the ground, forgotten.

Oh my GOD

Pls tell me Juno never reads these awful poems bc I cannot decide if he A. Has the same awful taste in literature as he does art and loves them despite how awful they are OR B. Also understands the euphemism and perishes of embarrassment on the spot
