I couldn't sleep so of course I came up with an Idea for a Fic I'm Not Writing

Based on those isekai anime's but specifically the one I watched Yesterday 'I'm the Villianess so I'm Taming the Final Boss.'

Sanji gets thrown into the dating sim he was playing before he died. As the character he most hated - the desperate, clumsy 3rd prince of a visiting royal family. The one who bumbles his way into every romance arc and fucks things up - not even on purpose! So, having played through all the romance routes, he figures the best thing he can do is stay out of them. Most of the romanceable characters have 2ndary love interests that they'll fall for and be happy with if the Protagonist doesn't choose them.

All except the one romance path Sanji was never able to finish bc the character was the most annoying and pointless: the guard captain and Knight of the Realm Roronoa Zoro!

(Zoro being the gay romance option, and Sanji never having figured that out bc he is 1. An idiot who was shocked when Nami's canon unchosen romance path was Princess Vivi and 2. Never got that far with Zoro bc he kept triggering fights and racking up bad karma points.)

Then - idk, maybe they awaken a special subplot that was never in the game or else have to face off against Another Protagonist

There's a lot of fun that can be had with the nature of reality in isekai fic

Had a panic attack at work last night and this clerk noticed and he got really close and said "hey look at me, just you and me" and then kept talking like normal and I looked away again and he stopped and more firmly said "look.at.me." and it made me a lil wet ngl

Idea that goes nowhere:

Damen runs an ice cream truck. No, he does not need to. He is the heir of some mega rich family, maybe pseudo-royalty a la the Hilton's. Maybe he used to be famous. Maybe he still IS famous and just goes: 'oh yeah, tons of people tell me I look like that guy, ha ha. Strawberry or Lemon?'

He once didn't see Laurent, and not only did that bitch chase him down the block while barefoot, he bitched Damen out afterwards. Then bought all Damen’s stock and Damen had to drive all the way back to his garage to restock.

Laurent gave them to the neighborhood kids for free.

To this day, Damen has no idea and thinks Laurent is a heartless, cruel person who crushes the dreams of children for fun

I simply think they should kiss about it
