This popped into my head and wouldn’t go away so I spent a couple hours scribbling on it and I think I’m done now. If I do make a finished version I’ll probably start from scratch because I... really did not think out the layering like I’d need to.

Anyhoodle Tanner’s a storm dragon and has been the whole time. His tattoos are very unsubtle hints about this.

- The Howling Owl: Tanner has been working at the Howling Owl for a little over a month or so by now, and he’s pretty hard to miss!

- Wanderer: Before the Owl, he was a drifter and roamed all over both of the major continents for the last few years. As long as it wasn’t an Alliance territory, he’s probably been there at least once. Tends to be easily recognized cuz he uses his antlers to carry stuff.

- Carpenter: He tends to be most often found out in the wild when he’s either gathering supplies, buying supplies, or building a project. Carpentry is noisy work, too!

I’m pretty sure he’s done now! I say “pretty sure” because no matter how sure I am I’m certain I’ll find stuff I need to tweak after the fact, but it’s almost 3 am again and I need to stop or I’ll collapse.

And now there’s a good portion of his mace, a lot of the shading is done and just needs tweaking here and there, and I’m going to murder my cat for jumping on my computer tower and stepping on the start button right as I wound down and giving me a heart attack until I culd get everything restarted and make sure I didn’t lose half the work I did today

this mace is a nightmare and the only thing I drew from a reference by the way

I had to trace the fucking thing because straight lines and also bullshit asymmetry
