At the beginning of April (right after I got my promotion to training lead), everybody in the department was required to set goals for the quarter ending on June 31st. I chose an easy one, an achievable one with a definite endpoint, and an ongoing one that I may or may not ever be able to finish one segment for.
As of today, I’ve finished the first two with two full months left to devote to the third, with today being a whirlwind of new shit I’ve never done like writing project management documentation for another department who’s never done my job and so I had to baby-step it the whole way through.
My brain is super tired but damn I finished some big stuff and I am very pleased even though it’s all boring managerial crap.
But it’s my boring managerial crap.
