Freeman woke with a start. Sitting up, he waited for his brain to catch up with the adrenaline that was coursing through his taut body. Slipped his feet over the side of the bed, feeling the worn down carpet of his apartment under his feet. He leaned forward, steadying his breath and his heart that beat faster the the wings on a hummingbird.
“Ok, one more!” Freeman chuckles, “Really?” “Oh please.. we’re so cute, I have to show everyone.” “Or you could just give me the phone.” “Never!”
*insert tickling, squeals, snorts and grunts here*
“FREEMAN! No far,” Faye says pouting. “your arms are longer than mine!”
“Say cheese!!” Freeman points his own phone down at Faye.
“Nice.. real attractive, Babe!”

“This is without a doubt the stupidest plan you’ve ever had. Of course I’m in.” Freeman slid a glance at his girlfriend, who was currently hooking a harness onto herself. Faye looked back at him and grinned.
“You’ll love it. C’mon.” She handed Freeman his own harness and then leaned down to pack a few things into her backpack.
Mountain climbing, of all things. Seriously? They’d always found ways to push each other “One more mile honey!” when they ran together. Kiyaking, hiking, even boxing once (Didn’t end up well but they laughed it off later) But mountain climbing was dangerous. They were only going up 500ft or so, since they were beginners, but heights freaked them both out.
Faye finished packing both their bags while Freeman uncomfortably put the harness around him. It was incredibly uncomfortable, but he wasn’t a quitter. He’d beat her up there and laugh in her face over dinner later.
She had the same idea. Her flexibility from dancing might put her at an advantage, and she wanted to win the race. She watched as Freeman slung his backpack over his back, equipped with water and food and an emergency kit, just in case.
“You’re insane, blondie.”
“And you love it.” She gave him a quick peck on the cheek as the instructor made his way over to them.
“Alright you two! Ready to climb a mountain? It’s not for the faint of heart!” The couple exchanged a glance, then nodded together.
Two hours later, they were sitting on a flat bit of rock drinking water like it was the elixir of the gods. Freeman’s arms and legs were already aching. Faye, who had a little more luck with climbing, was also feeling it. She couldn’t wait to plop down in their bed and fall asleep. She refused to admit that this decision of her was dumb. She’d never hear the end of it!
“Admit it, Faye.” Freeman said from behind her, startling her.
“Admit what?”
“That you fucked up. This is awful.”
“What? No, I’m having a blast.” She knew she didn’t sound convincing, but her pride wouldn’t let her acknowledge that.
“Uh huh.” He raised an eyebrow, and she found herself wanting to kiss him. Damnit, why did he have to be adorable?
“I…am.”
“Your blotchy red face says otherwise.” Freeman poked her nose and started laughing. “If you admit it, I might just reward you tonight for your…sincerity.”
“Oh.” Faye was sure she was blushing, but her face was red anyway. Freeman smiled at her in anticipation of an answer.
“Well….”
“Well?”
“This might be SORT of awful…”
“Sort of.”
“Okay. It’s awful. You win.” She stuck her tongue out at him and was rewarded with another laugh.
“You’re so cute when you’re angry.” He kissed her forehead and began walking away. “We still need to finish! See you up there!” The instructor was laughing his ass off as he watched Freeman start running for the climb point and Faye run after him.

Romy and Atticus ( @neversayenevermore ) had a ‘man’s day’ at the beach where they went fishing on their boat that Roy rented and went windsurfing, until Atticus fell off his board and Romy had to save him, lmao. They haded back to the beach to cook up the fish they caught when they noticed that there were two people on the beach. Turns out Dani ( @myamazingsims ), Romy’s girlfriend, and Naoki (someone Atticus is getting close with from school) crashed their man club, but they couldn’t be mad at these two beauties!
