Braylie spends her days driving her little toy car around the property searching for Dinnky. By the time the sun is setting and Izzy calls her in from outside, her little voice is hoarse from calling for her for hours.
Its been 53 Days since we last saw Dinky.. Braylie still wakes up at night crying out for me because she dreams of trying to catch Dinky but she just disappears! "My legs are to little, Mama! And my hands are too tiny!" she could cry to me every night. My heart breaks as I hold her tight rocking her. How do I mend her shattered heart?! How do you ask her to hope when deep down you know Dinky won't be coming back? Because I don't have the heart to ask her to give up hope just yet on seeing Dinky return, we continue to make Flyers in hope that someone - somewhere has seen her and will either return her or let us know where to look. Until then.. I will hold Braylie tight. I will wipe away her tears and tell her I love her.
It was late when the Bartolini's returned home from on of the family Villa's closer to the hospital. They'd been away from home for a little more than a month until Izzy got the ok from her OB that they could return home, which is more country side Simaly. Much to poor Braylie's dismay, her beloved cat Dinky had disappeared a week after moving to the Villa and though they'd searched for her this entire time, even putting up Missing Cat signs all over Monte Vista - Dinky still was missing. She was so sure that Dinky had went back home. The warm glow from the lights on inside the house illuminated the walkway leading up to the front of the house. The plant that was Dinky's favorite place to sleep when she was outside showed no traces that she'd been there. It was as Izzy and Enzo feared. Dinky had not returned home. Braylie is heartbroken, but she keeps her hope that her loveable ball of fluff will return home.
Potty training... it's serious big step for our itty bitties and an even bigger one to get down off the potty!
Braylie's first tantrum: Braylie has become rather attached to her Hogwarts sweater. So much so, she hasn't taken it off for over a week. Izzy has tried everything under the sun, even bribing which is something she doesn't like to encourage. When Izzy asked why she won't let her wash it, Braylie responded to her Mother by saying, "UH! 'Cause I just got it comforted Mama! If you wash it, it will be a stranger!" Izzy thought about it for a minute, trying to not laugh since Braylie was very serious and she didn't want to hurt her feelings. She made a deal with Braylie that if she let her wash it, they could stay up and have a "Potterthon!" "I need to discuss this." Braylie said turning away from her Mother and crossing her arms she scrunched her little face up and tapped her chubby little finger against her chin. "Ok.. BUT I have to wear it when we watch it Mama!" Izzy was sworn under the oath of the Pinky Promise (which makes it law in their house) and so Braylie finally let her Mother help her out of her oversized Hogwarts sweater that she carried out to the laundry room, crying silently the whole way.
Good morning from our sick baby, Lucca! On top of being sick, he's also teething, but he's such a little trooper! Thank goodness for pediapops!
This is where Braylie has spent the majority of her sick days. Izzy and Enzo are still learning all of their adopted daughters little quirks, one of them is that she becomes somewhat introverted and withdrawn when she's sick whereas Lucca wants to be snuggled and held 24/7. However, they don't push her. Izzy and Enzo check on her all throughout the day, make sure if she needs snacks she has them. Enzo moved her from her toybox when he checked on her and found her asleep and that upset her a great deal.. so now he just puts a pillow under her little head and walks away, hahaha.
Braylie's new Winter Coat that Gramama Bartolini made for her with a Matching Bow! Of course, she ran and hid when Mommy told her it was time to take it off until they left the house. It was so pretty and soft! Braylie wasn't ready to take it off, so she hid where any four year old would run and hide from her Mother. Her Toybox! Duh!
Say hello to one of the infamous Bartolini Sisters! This is Della Bartolini, oldest out of seven of Enzo's Sister's. Izzy was dropping Braylie off to spend the day with her Auntie Della before heading to the Bistro to give Pedro a hand in prepping for a Bachelor party the next night. Braylie wanted to show her Mommy all of the yummy vegetables that she and Auntie Della planted. Izzy is taking a few of Della's Bell Peppers for a new recipe she wants to try while Della tells her about her new job. Braylie is busy chasing the chickens. She's fearless! I wanted to say thank you to the wonderful and amazing sakorbsims for lending me her eyeballs! <33333
