The Blue Elites, Kaijō High School!
Kaijo boys! What would you want to do on a first date? :D
KASAMATSU: “Dinner maybe.”
HAYAKAWA: “Movieswouldbereallyfun.”
MORIYAMA: “Horse-drawn carriage and perhaps a moonlit dinner.”
KOBORI: “Yeah, dinner would be great.”
KISE: “Karaoke!”
EVERYONE: “Why do you want to scare her away so early on?”
From the KnB character bible. I love these little sections because you get a nice glimpse into the nature of each school, and also each coach’s personality.
Seirin
Aida Riko: Being a brand new school, the buildings and facilities are all very clean! We’re close to the city center so it’s convenient to go out to play too. The narrow grounds are a down-side, but there is a sports gym nearby so we have no problems with club practice.
The new school building and cherry blossom rows welcome the new students! Even though they have just been established, club activity recruitment is thriving.
Kaijou
Takeuchi Genta: We are a high school that puts a lot into sports. Soccer, rugby, baseball - most of our sports clubs have made it to the national stage. The school has much tradition, and the facilities are extensive. The basketball club has also existed for a long time.
Kaijou Highschool has very spacious grounds. The basketball club even has their own dedicated gymnasium!
Shuutoku
Nakatani Masaaki: It is a traditional, or more like - very old school. The facilities are worn-out… I mean, they have history. We use them with care. School regulations are very strict, so any students that wish to enroll should make sure to tidy their appearance.
The basketball club has a team to film the matches of rival schools. The club seems to have a large number of reserve players.
Touou
Harasawa Katsunori: The curriculum has a lot of flexibility, and the school buildings are in relatively good shape. You could say that the atmosphere is similar to that of a university. As with the basketball club, the sports clubs are all strong, but I also believe that the arts clubs are more active than most schools’.
The school roof is apparently left unlocked, so the students are free to hang out there.
Yousen
Araki Masako: Being in snow country, we put a lot of strength into indoor sports such as basketball and handball. The delicious canteen is also the pride of our school.
A Christian school with Western-style school buildings. The uniform is blazers!
Moriyama & Kasamatsu
Happy birthday, Ryouta!
