support nonbinary people who experience social dysphoria.

nbs who hate being referred to as their assigned gender, who are uncomfortable not being seen as nonbinary, who hate being held to the expectations of being a man or a woman, and who are distressed at not being seen as what they are in a very binary-centric world.

what you’re dealing with is real and your feelings about it are valid. it’s a struggle now but the world is changing and becoming more aware and accepting of nonbinary people. the progress being made may feel glacial but there will come a day when you’re seen as nonbinary and you’re acknowledged for what you are.

You don’t have to plot your gender on a graph in relation to the binary genders. You can just be nonbinary.

You dont have to “align” with one (or both) of the binary genders. You can just be nonbinary.

You don’t have to define your sexuality in relation to the gender binary in any way. You can just be nonbinary.

So I found a site that does a subscription box for your period- it sends you basics like hygiene products, pain medication as well as snacks and pampering stuff to make you feel good,

but the best thing is they have a specialty boxes, like vegan or kosher only snacks but also

they specifically offer boxes for menstruating guys and nb folks.

which is pretty darn cool.

it’s called bonjourjolie and I think it’s 1000% awesome tbh

i think this is the best thing omf

@mygenderadventures, don’t know if this is content you’d put on your blog, but I think this is fantastic.

I don’t tend to post non-art stuff but thanks for the shout-out anyway!!! I’m sure this will be of interest to a few people here :)

The “specialty boxes” that these are listed with also include a box for kids getting their first period

My dear lgbt+ kids,

For anyone wondering where I stand in the ace discourse:

I’m standing on the side, scratching my head, wondering “Of course asexual people belong in our community, why do we even need to discuss that” and offer free hugs to all confused or worried ace kids.

With all my love,

Your Tumblr Mom

^I 100% support asexual and aromantic people, wherever they fall on the ace and aro spectrums, no matter what ‘the discourse’ says. Willing to be a tumblr brother to anyone who needs one. 💜💚

Ace and aro folk: You belong. 💖

Your expression of your gender is not for other people, it is for you. If you want to smash the binary and destroy stereotypes, go for it, that’s great. Your choice is right. If you feel more comfortable and yourself by maybe fitting into stereotypes, that’s great too, your choice is right. Gender expression is about being yourself, not about what people want to see you as.  Remember this the next time someone tells you what you can and cant do regarding your expression, because you are the only one who gets to decide that.
