Is your Halloween costume the froggy chair? ...chair?

The next of my latest embroidered top designs is a tribute to the infamous froggy chair from Animal Crossing. This design was easily the most popular of the new designs at MCM London. This real (definitely not fake) design was approved and quality-checked by Redd himself. It's perfect for all you bells spenders and Tom Nook debtors.

My girl Anya deserved better, and I am now traumatised when I use Listerine but I am obsessed with the Mouthwahing game. I even made myself a Captain Curly t-shirt, which I have put on my website for a limited time just in case anyone else is as obsessed as me. Also when they inevitably make a Mouthwashing movie they need a time machine because Shelley Duvall should play her.

The first of my new embroidered designs is inspired by my current obsession with the TV show Yellowjackets. My absolute favourite character is Misty (it's almost worrying at times how alike we are). I also love it when she teams up with Nat, I need a Starsky and Hutch-esque spin of show with them both.

I will reveal the other two new designs at the start of next week once I'm back from MCM London...

When I began designing this Talisman it was originally going to be the Healing Talisman, but I was worried it might think it will actually heal physical diseases. So to avoid any possible legal cases against me, I instead created the Strength Talisman! While its name evolved, its meaning remained the same – to symbolize the indomitable strength that resides within each of us, ready to be harnessed during life's most challenging moments, to embody resilience and inner fortitude

Delving deeper into the design, keen-eyed observers may spot a familiar motif I often use. Nona Gallery lore drop, my own logo is actually a combination of a witch's knot and a Tabono, an Adrinka symbol. The Tabono has such a strong message attached to it I had to use it for this Talisman. It's a testament to the unyielding spirit that defines us all, and a reminder that no matter the adversities we face, we possess the strength to endure and thrive.

When I was designing the Healthworker's Talisman, I wanted the symbolism to serve as a reminder to its owner that their chosen career path is nothing short of extraordinary. The dedication and compassion required to care for others in the healthcare industry is unparalleled, and it takes a truly special soul to walk that path. Personally, I couldn't fathom taking on such a role, because let's be honest people are the worst. Health workers, however, embody the epitome of selflessness, showcasing the immense capacity for kindness within humanity.

Equally important was the need for this Talisman to carry a gentle yet powerful message: to cherish the understanding that one's identity is not defined solely by their profession. It was essential for me to impart the value of not becoming engulfed by work, but to always carve out time for personal well-being and a fulfilling life outside the workplace.

To all the healthcare warriors who wear the Healthworker's Talisman, may its presence offer unwavering support and serve as a poignant reminder of the importance of self-care and how appreciated your tireless efforts truly are. Your dedication is awe-inspiring, and you deserve to find solace and joy in every aspect of your life, both within and outside the realm of your profession.

Oh lawdy, he do be really spoppin' this month! As it is officially spooky season I thought I'd go full paranormal and design something ghost-themed, and what's better than a ghost? A cat ghost! Purranormal cativity if you will (yes that was my initial design idea).

Don’t worry if you missed out on my ghost scarf, because the matching sock designs are still available in my store. I really enjoyed designing this collection, it was a lot of fun. Are there any other themes or characters you’d like to see me make a knitwear design for?

My frog socks have been by far the most popular of my new knitwear collection. They came out a bit pinker than I had planned but I don’t think that’s a bad thing at all because I did want them to be super vibrant.

All my socks are crafted from a premium mixture of organic cotton from ethical producers within the European Union and upcycled cotton, which significantly saves water, resources and pollutants. Plus, they’re certified Fairtrade and vegan-friendly, ensuring you can wear them with peace of mind knowing it is ethical and sustainable too. Yay!
