You were walking home from work and heard something rumble. Was it your stomach? Nope. Looking upwards, you see dark clouds start to gather in the sky. You watch in horror as rain starts to fall, with one drop landing on your face. You were nowhere near your home and there wasn’t a nearby subway station. This rain could last anywhere between two minutes and seven hours. What were you going to do?
You look around at the shops nearby to see if there’s one you can go in. There’s a closed clothing store, a stationery store, a bookstore, and a bakery. You decide on going in the bookstore, but just as you reach for the door, someone walks over and flips the ‘OPEN’ sign so it reads ‘CLOSED’. You groan and look at your other options. The rain is continuing to fall and you feel really cold, so a cup of coffee and some baked goods would be your next best option.
