Art Tute: making your characters older!

Something you won’t see too often on many characters… But nooks and wrinkles are very defining features! You can easily gauge how much life someone has lived through them, Some even dig the unique look of said details! A unique feature of its own.

Take it easy y’all! I know I am now. And it feels much better. Good day!

“Speed over time! Using your elbow rather than your wrist to draw!”

Hey all, I’m back from being useless!

Note: this doesn’t take long to do, like you can literally make a smoother line in under a minute, I’d highly advise trying it out yourself! This tip out of all I’ve made so far is probably my favorite, it helped me get much better at my time and art quality, plus it’s ergonomically nice. Give it a whirl, have questions? Be not afraid to ask me anything, I’ll be here.

Have a good day y’all!

Art tutorial: Making the stability tool more natural!

Something that i truffled with a lot when I was starting up art with no good pressure sense tools was the stable assisted drawings. It really help out your nervous hands but really cost your natural flow of drawing, in fact at this point I’d suggest not using it but if that’s your style then you’ll get no judgement from me, all styles are good. Soooooo, what’s a better way to use that style of stability assisted drawing tools? Giving them uniqueness! And that’s what this tutorial is for, a way I figured could help make stable helped drawings more comfortable looking.

I’ll release another tips and tricks art thing later on describing how I make my strokes and hands very steady with no stable assistance drawing, but for now, I hope this helps folks out who use the stabilization tool! It’s how I made tons of artworks long long ago!

Art tutorial:

“Making the symmetry tool unique!”

Another art thing, this time for symmetry tool assisted works! This is just a way to spice your artwork up in order to make it feel more natural than oddly perfect.

I wouldn’t recommend doing forward facing furries at all honestly cause it can be tough to jot down but if your heart is set, go for it! And also if you like symmetry artworks that are perfectly balanced like the first head, that’s alright too. This doesn’t disprove them as awesome. That’s all folks! Have a great day!

“Art tutorial, drawing fluff tufts on smooth parts!”

Btw you can like, totally add them on top of the lines if your a traditional artist, it’ll look stacked BUT that’s okay, I’ve seen many artist use it to add depth to the characters and it does look good. You gotta recall, an average viewer doesn’t even stare at your work for more than 10 seconds in all honesty. Don’t get wound up in perfection, it ain’t needed!

Have a killer day y’all! There is always more to learn!

Art tutorial! The cheek line scribbles!

A really cool trick that adds some detail to the face, Using little lines just about anywhere on the flesh of your character is a good way to describe a muscle/fatty area and how its structure is formed, in this case my character is smiling, therefor his cheek fat would be goin* up to show off his smirk like in real life! Heck, you can even just add it to because it looks great!

Hope y’all like the art tutorial! Have a good day friendoes!

“Enhancing your eyeballs in art! With eyeliner!”

Another tutorial for your arty stuff! Really happy everyone enjoyed the last one so throughly.

This little add on does wonders for the eyes in drawing, It’s one of my favorite things to add because your allowed to customize it so heavily to your liking! Go ham with whatever looks best when you try it, They’re are many types of eyeliner designs that you can look up if you need inspiration, I’ve yet to see one that doesn’t absolutely rock!

“Improving the line art with black shadows!”

Trying to hand out tutorials for the first time, just drawing tips and tricks, it’s no pro stuff but I’m just freelancer sooooo.

It’ll basically be stuff to show how I do my art, Little things I do to stylize my things. Maybe someone else will be able to take something out of it. Forgive me if this tutorial is basic, I’m not experienced in making em so give me time.
