“Art tutorial: intercepting lines around the jaw and neck!”
This one is OLD, I forgot to upload it here entirely, It’s a very small detail for sure, but it sometimes help to use it when the lines just aren’t feeling good on your creations. I know sometimes my necks look very thick and blocky around the jaw, so in those cases I use this to space out the neck from the massive jaw to make it feel a bit more… “breathy” if that makes a single sense. Heck, maybe it adds depth or something, I dunno, but it’s a style choice that’s pretty fun to play with, give it a whirl and pick your poison.
“Downright psycho”
Pew pew.
Art Tute: making your characters older!
Something you won’t see too often on many characters… But nooks and wrinkles are very defining features! You can easily gauge how much life someone has lived through them, Some even dig the unique look of said details! A unique feature of its own.
Take it easy y’all! I know I am now. And it feels much better. Good day!
Art tute: direct your eyes!
“Neon ebony idk-“
Art tutorial: flat colors are… flat?
*unflattens your colors*
This one’s a mouthful but it’s been really helpful to me nonetheless. I hope it helps all too! Have a wonderful day and night y’all!
“Dark rebirth…”
Art tute: Big snoot lengths!
Boop those snoots!
Just a little thing that I picked up recently from focusing on another’s artist’s style, gonna add it to my own because big schnozes are super cute. Enjoy and good day folks!
“Art tutorial: ears have folds!”
Get them big ol ears in the caption!
Note: for realism, cats have a extra bit on the bottom of they’re ears that’s called a Henry pocket, but I’m no realistic artist sooooooo-
“Speed over time! Using your elbow rather than your wrist to draw!”
Hey all, I’m back from being useless!
Note: this doesn’t take long to do, like you can literally make a smoother line in under a minute, I’d highly advise trying it out yourself! This tip out of all I’ve made so far is probably my favorite, it helped me get much better at my time and art quality, plus it’s ergonomically nice. Give it a whirl, have questions? Be not afraid to ask me anything, I’ll be here.
Have a good day y’all!
Art tutorial: Making the stability tool more natural!
Something that i truffled with a lot when I was starting up art with no good pressure sense tools was the stable assisted drawings. It really help out your nervous hands but really cost your natural flow of drawing, in fact at this point I’d suggest not using it but if that’s your style then you’ll get no judgement from me, all styles are good. Soooooo, what’s a better way to use that style of stability assisted drawing tools? Giving them uniqueness! And that’s what this tutorial is for, a way I figured could help make stable helped drawings more comfortable looking.
I’ll release another tips and tricks art thing later on describing how I make my strokes and hands very steady with no stable assistance drawing, but for now, I hope this helps folks out who use the stabilization tool! It’s how I made tons of artworks long long ago!
“Everyone feels loneliness”
Been thinking back to when I used to get so depressed when the air got colder, it wasn’t long ago, like maybe 2 or 3 years ago, but it was strange. Such a decline in mental health over a change in temperature sounds crazy but it’s for sure true. Such thoughts of loneliness and rumination clouded my mind whenever I stood out in the cold weather, I recall a certain scene of a yard I was standing in, it was so dark outside, the trees were black with shadows and the ground wasn’t too tellable. It was after sunset and it fell so dreary, no one else was outside with me. So, in that dreary feeling, I just started wandering, it wasn’t comfortable at all, it felt like I really was purely alone with not a sound to be heard. I don’t even know why I kept wandering like I did now that I look back at it, maybe it was just the effect of sadness. It was surreally disconnecting for sure.
Art tutorial:
“Making the symmetry tool unique!”
Another art thing, this time for symmetry tool assisted works! This is just a way to spice your artwork up in order to make it feel more natural than oddly perfect.
I wouldn’t recommend doing forward facing furries at all honestly cause it can be tough to jot down but if your heart is set, go for it! And also if you like symmetry artworks that are perfectly balanced like the first head, that’s alright too. This doesn’t disprove them as awesome. That’s all folks! Have a great day!
Build a character time!
Art tutorial! Eye highlights!
Yet another art tutorial with eyes again, This time, highlights!
Edit: reupload because I picked the wrong file to choose lol.
“Heavy metal flame Atronach”
Playing morrowind again, never beat it but THIS TIME, I totally will, digging the books and writing honestly, its well made. I’ve got the knowledge to understand stats and all that stuff so this time it’ll be good. Uh, this artwork is the atronachs from morrowind, I like these designs much more than skyrims, they’re so sharp looking! Maybe not the chest armor that looks like a mad max villain but besides that, the mask are killer! This is an alt but I’ll give the colored one later on. They were both very good to draw.
