This kind of happened to me. They told my birth mom I died a year after she gave me up for adoption. She thought I was dead up until last year when I found her. Come to find out the agency she went thru is under federal investigation for doing a bunch of black market adoptions.

Also add that this isn’t a decades ago problem. It still happens A LOT today. Happened to me, my sister was sold via craigslist several times, my cousins have been thru similar shit. Foster and adoption is a huge market for taking kids for child Slavery whether it be sex work or otherwise.

This is my new favorite hangout spot. I walked here from home with a cup of tea and my watercolor supplies. A floating dock out of the reach of sun or rain floats underneath the marina. And it has friends. 😍

This is actually a cool thing I know about!

In the wild capybaras live in large groups so naturally a female capybara will take care of not only her own offspring, but all of the other offspring in the group. So capybaras are super great mothers who will adopt pretty much anything and take care of it.

Lots of places that rescue different animals will give a group of baby animals to a capybara to raise if they have one.

Emus

They are just super calm animals so they’re naturally great at mothering or just existing in a group!

Hi everyone this is the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever had to do on here but I really don’t have any other options. I posted a couple of months ago that I’d finished getting my AA at a community college and for the spring I would be attending a four year. The four year I chose offered me a very generous scholarship that cut down on my tuition fees, however, attending school would still be almost impossible for me to afford. My dad is the sole bread winner in my family and is already working himself to the ground six days per week for very long hours and the only employment opportunity I had was part time at my previous school, and the newest opportunity was only available during the summers and exceeded my experience level. In order to pay for school on top of finding another job with flexible hours would be sex work which is something I have the utmost worst experience with. It’s so fucking embarrassing to beg for money and to admit that sex work was something I’ve had to resort to in the past but I would so appreciate any reblogs or donatations anyone would be able to make to help me. This post is discouraging, but sadly, there aren’t any less shady alternatives (aside from the legal streaming sites, of course) Anyway, if you wanna use any streaming site, you should download these Chrome extensions:

- uBlock Origin

And then you’re gonna wanna add this list to your uBlock filters…it blocks a lot of the nasty popups. 

- Kiss Essentials

Removes ads and adds functionality. Can never be too safe, right?

- Pop Up Blocker 

This extension is a lifesaver, seriously. Personally, I’ve never seen it used on Kiss, but it works a lot on other streaming sites. With uBlock, Essentials, and Pop Up Blocker, it’s very rare that I see ads. 

- Minerblocker

As the name suggests, it blocks crypto miners. I can’t vouch for its reliability yet, as it hasn’t blocked anything for me atm.

I also use a tampermonkey script to block the “Are You Human?” thing. Pretty sure it’s on the Kissanime reddit (also, if you use Kiss a lot, browse that sub even more!! It’s really useful to know what the hell is going on the site before you risk your computer). Make sure to download Malwarebytes, too!
