Caine x Moon - What Can I Do For You? (I can't exactly explain WHY I think this fits them, but it just... DOES. Especially Rose's voice for Moon and her almost teasing Greg in the song. It's just- AUGH YES)

Caine x Pomni - Doll On A Music Box (Thanks to the lovely sm-baby I now associate this song with this ship. I think it works well for them! Being stuck and being in awe, a very in character for the two of them)

Pomni x Ragatha - Just A Taste (The song is about trying something new and being confused about it. This is SO Ragapom coded! These girl failures 100% would ease into this concept of them together)

Pomni x Jax - If I Loved You (YES I like this ship- ANYWAY I do believe that they'd be in denial of liking one another in that context for like the LONGEST TIME and this song is just- denial the song)

Pomni x Gangle - Would You Be So Kind (THIS SONG IS SO GANGLE CODED AUGH.... Gangle would totally be the one in this song! Also it's just cute, comforting, and WHOLESOME! Just like this ship!)

Pomni x Zooble - I Won't Say I'm In Love (Oh you KNOW Zooble would be the most in denial of their own feelings, especially if it's for this cowardly fool of a woman. But you can't escape love lmaooo)

Ragatha x Gangle - I See The Light (Honestly this one is just soft, calm, and safe sounding. It's what a song for these two SHOULD be. Another beautiful and wholesome song for a wholesome ship ^^)

Zooble x Jax - Your Stupid Face (Ever since I heard this song, I knew that this is basically what I think Abstrabbit is. Rivals to Lovers where they hate each other yet love one another at the same time. AUGH)

Well, it was certainly a slowburn one, I can tell ya that

Since Caine was the first prisoner to arrive in the circus, at first Moon did what Sun did, tell him to behave and follow the rules and nothing bad will happen to him. Caine wasn't all insane and hyper as he was now, in fact when he first arrived, he was very close to Pomni in his reactions. Moon helped him way more than Sun did, her AI being made to be nicer to the prisoners as a way to balance Sun's strict personality and algorithms

By the time Jax arrived at the circus, Caine's sanity was already halfway gone. But this was also the point where the first feelings sparked- and it was Caine who felt it first. He had gotten close with Moon and Able at this point, so it wasn't really a surprise he was around them often. Unlike with Able's brotherly love towards Caine, the living pair of teeth started to get a different KIND of love towards Moon. Of course, he kept to himself for a while because 'It's an AI, she can't love me back' but oh how wrong he was

Moon, although felt bad for Caine's now lack of proper mental stability, also cared about him more than anyone else there. She still did her job but couldn't help herself but admire Caine more and more. Soon enough her algorithms determined that she was... Well, in love. They confessed around the time Gangle was the newby. Ever since, they've been together

It's not so much as they're keeping it a secret but more so not showing it around Sun in particular. Everyone knows they're a couple, even Pomni picked up on it very early on, but Sun gets FURIOUS at them being lovey-dovey around her. Mainly because of her own AI saying that "love = lazy" whilst Moon's AI doesn't. They're like sisters in an odd way

But yeah that's how they became a thing in the AU. Also yes, Caine IS the bottom in the relationship. And I will not clarify as to why
