One night this little fantasy pops into her mind while falling asleep and she hasn't been able to shake it off since. She'd also rather jump off a cliff before she confesses this to anyone.

Gideon! You really liked my Harrow design so here you have her cavalier with impractical belts and trying her best to play the part.

Also, if you're asking yourself about the random color variation... I just like to imagine some of the artificial light in Drearburh is black light and their paint glows. I think it's neat, you can see Harrow's here!

bury me in an unmarked grave

(aka gideon dealing with rejection aka me thinking about the fact that gideon's ultimate act of love is the ultimate act of betrayal for harrow)

Griddlehark isn't enemies to lovers. It's "crabs fighting to keep each other in a bucket" to "crabs sacrificing themselves to help each other out of the bucket"

Thinking about how Abigail Pent sent the children’s spirits out into the River to keep them safe and how Issac and Jeannemary cried and screamed when she died and how awful that second goodbye must have been; how they must have begged her to stay, just a little longer, like children always do when they don’t want to leave; and how Abigail and Magnus had to order their spirits on anyway, like parents sending their children to the countryside to keep them safe from war, and how Abigail put a fork through my heart when she said, “I don’t think I can bear sending them out again–”
