this hits so much harder when you know that Inej tried to cope in the menagerie by 'leaving her body' - it feels too similar.

We get two middle-aged men who experience love for the first time. There are so many teen romances in media, that you sometimes forget that you have time.

Being in my mid-twenties and on the ace-spectrum, I have not yet experienced that connection with someone and sometimes it feels like I missed my chance. This show makes me feel less of an outsider 💜
