I see you, Phil Lester 👀

My observation of Youtube bromances and why Phan doesn't fit

I recently watched a bunch of videos of Youtube friends, including Joe Suggs videos. He used to live with Caspar Lee, another Youtuber, they make videos together fairly often and even went on tour together like Dan and Phil did.

I noticed quite a few things that are different between their friendship and Dan and Phil’s:

- no fond smiling at each other - no leaning into each other/sitting so close they touch most of the time - no combining their brands until they are known as JoeandCasper - no planning their future together (house and doggo included) - no domestic banter (‘your socks are everywhere, close the cupboard doors’) - no lack of dating other people

I’m not saying that Dan and Phil are definitely dating, but this is such a huge contrast - they consider each other family/platonic soulmates at least, I think, and that’s beautiful 💜
