Something I haven't seen discussed yet is how sad it is that Ivan and particularly Fang are being drawn back into the abusive, alcohol-and-violence-are-the-only-acceptable-outlets pirating culture too. Fang really took to the Revenge's style of doing things and was so excited for the talent show! But then he's drinking and knocking people out at the end. Ivan as far as I can tell didn't take to them as deeply, but he's still the one who in ep 2 suggested Fang say something about Izzy hurting him and he comforted Fang when he was distraught about his dog, so I imagine he was also more comfortable on the Revenge
