I don’t think this is going to be a popular opinion but I actually agree with Johnny here. I would’ve understood if Sam was uncomfortable with how Tory was fighting since she was emotional but I don’t agree with Daniel and Amanda trying to make the decision for Tory.

I’ve seen a lot of posts acting like Tory was just pissed and wanting to take her anger out on someone but it clearly meant more to her than just being angry. They put in this whole scene about her mom telling her they were going to learn to fight for themselves and this is the moment she’s clinging to after everything that happens, she’s explicitly shown to be thinking about it multiple times.

Tory was trying to make her mom proud and she was trying to work through it like Johnny said because it was important to her and it would’ve been important to her mom- not just to hit something or start a random fight.

Calling it off shouldn’t have been Daniel’s call, that was between Sam and Tory, and taking away Tory’s autonomy obviously had severe consequences especially for someone who has had to deal with the things she has and relied on herself for so much.

If Tory wanted to fight for her mom she should’ve been able too and that lack of support when she needed it was what sent her to Cobra Kai and Kreese again.
