It's basically Phantom Arm Syndrome, where amputees have told that they can still "feel" their missing limbs. Such as having it itch and so on.
In this case tho, Arthur is still able to feel his arm that ??? possessed. It's not linked to the metal arm, but just his brain in general, though he will go through the motions of trying to scratch it or what not...
Was talking about Lewis finding out that Arthur didnt kill him, before Arthur figures out that hes Lewis. And Lewis isnt ready to reveal himself, but he still feels the need to be the mom friend to this dumb tired child. (lew you dweeb hes gonna figure it out if you keep that up)
That year of searching was really long some days...

More Mirror’s Gaze sketches of my poor sons.
I started thinking about the slow metamorphosis of their hair.
Since dirty words like “Hair brush” and “Gel” are not in Shaggy’s vocabulary, Arthur’s hair has grown quite wild in his absence.
Arthur never consciously tried to style Shaggy’s hair. But like, you figure with the constantly running his hands through it when he’s nervous (which is 24/7) especially when it’s wet from a shower or something, it’s gonna start sticking up. No matter how floppy originally.
And of course the smiles. Shaggy with his beaming smile, and poor Arthur with his nervous grin. ♡

I’ve been waiting until I had enough time to draw a response to this question! It enters my personal head cannon territory, which means its probably not something that will ever be addressed by the videos haha. Lance became somewhat of a father figure to Arthur at a young age, after his parents went through a divorce. He developed a passion for mechanical engineering and, as soon as he was old enough, left to stay with Uncle. Never looked back.
So did he stay with Lance in Texas during the divorce, then go back to living with his mom or dad later?
Ooh is he like a returning childhood friend of Vivi's And Lewis?
When you're cappy rushed color job actually ends up looking nice and helps distract from how poorly you draw. #yasssssss
