Happy AkuRoku Day! ♥ I actually wrote a completed one-shot for you guys this time! All fluff and afterlife feelings, so I hope you enjoy!

====== Simple ======

They didn't go out and watch the latest superhero movie. They didn't make a reservation at that one restaurant they both like, which didn't always have the best entrees but always had a decent bread basket and that sea salt cheesecake they could never say no to. They didn't do anything the couples magazines told them to do--flowers, jewelry, scented candles, a new dress and suit, some ludicrously expensive gold-leaf and champagne infused candy from that one store that opened downtown.

They were both thankful for that.

I’m done, Roxas.

We can’t--I can’t do this. I thought it’d work out but I can’t keep this up. It’s not fair to either of us. The last thing I’d ever want is to hurt you, but Im pretty sure I’ve already done more damage than I could ever hope to repair.

BTW for people who were wanting to write something for this entry, or any other entry, PLEASE, BY ALL MEANS, WRITE, don’t be deterred by this drabble :’D Doesn’t matter if I’ve written something for it or not, I really encourage you guys to keep going with your ideas if you’ve started on something already! I’d love to see what you guys come up with ;u;

Clouds gave ominous rumbles as they built up in the sky, hiding away the moon and shrouding the kingdom in shadows. The rain began to fall, tentatively at first, but within seconds became a deluge. It would not deter Axel, who maneuvered his way around the walls of the great House Shinra with the skill and nimbleness of a cat. Soon, the bell of the cathedral sitting in the town square will strike three times, and his job will be begin.

Get into Lord Shinra’s bedchambers from the balcony, picking the easy lock on the French doors–the rain will help hide the scratching and click of the locks–and through the darkness creep with dagger in hand, strike the slumbering man in the neck, don’t let him scream, retreat out the same way.

“Oh, and don’t forget to retrieve the boy. He will be useful to us.”
