i love that when colin came out, it was never implied that he had to come out to the whole world. i see a lot of media suggesting that queer people can only be fulfilled when they come out to everyone in their lives, but that's not a super healthy narrative. nothing against people whose goals are to be out to everyone in their lives (would be a bit hypocritical of me), but it's so cool to see a queer person whose narrative doesn't revolve around everyone knowing that they're queer, or 'being their true self'. sometimes, coming out to the people you care about is enough, and that's important to see in mainstream media. slay colin, slay
