today is Indigenous People's Day in Canada and I really wanted to post both of my Métis pieces that I did for @novaandmali's Classics But Make It Gay (vol. 3 & 2). celebrating my culture means a lot to me and a lot of work, research, and communication with my community leaders and knowledge keepers went into both of these works. sharing them with all of you is both an honour and a privilege that I have, and I am so grateful for the chances I had to delve into my identity. thank you & maarsii!
this should go without saying, but please don't message me dozens of unsolicited photos of g*re and PLEASE stop sending me super graphic inbox messages about x/y/z. i understand going through something horrible, but I personally do not need the gritty details about your hospital visit, etc. when I am just an art account. please.

métis hatsune miku !!!
just reminding people that "metis" has multiple definitions.
????
well metis is also the god of a certain religion
Metis (Greek) and Métis (the Indigenous People) are not only spelled differently, but have inherently different meanings in their languages. This is not a case of 'multiple definitions', they are very different and it's very clear who/what this art is depicting culturally.
only two people out of like 34k have noticed that miku is trans in my drawing.... i appreciate u both
